General Random Thoughts: Biohazard/Resident Evil edition

I know CV is a hard game and some people probably don't have the patience for it. But the game takes place on a prison island, so there's bound to be tighter than usual security. With Umbrella being in charge, you know how they are.

If they remade it, I could see it being linear with maybe one or two mediocre puzzles. Aligning crests or something. It wouldn't at all surprise me. That's one thing puzzles enthusiastics missed in the RE3 remake. Remember the music box puzzle?

I wouldn’t say it’s especially hard as much as it is gimped, leaving the player with no warning and essentially locking them out of inventory, etc.

Having thought about it, cutting Krauser out of the RE4 remake wouldn't make sense. Logistically, the cult required somebody to bring Ashley from America to Spain. So that was his job. Even though he was just keeping an eye on things for himself, he's still the reason she was kidnapped in the first place. So if he's gone, then uh. What's the point in this game?

I do think he could have done with getting a better intro in the original, even if this was just shown off in a brief flashback to explain that Leon and Krauser had been comrades. That he 'just knows' Leon is so random. They didn't even bother to provide a reason as to how they met.

Do you think Capcom will make us play as Ada with that hacking gun again, for the reimagining of RE4? Oh, God.

That really wasn't all that enjoyable in the RE2 remake, to be honest.

I stopped having interest in that stuff. If Capcom themselves don't care enough to spill the beans, then we shouldn't care either. Sometimes, I think they just make things up, then get cold feet and never further it. At least not immediately.

Can't wait to be discussing a new BIO already! RE:4 can't come soon enough and even Village DLC as a hold over, it's a little bit dry rn. As a fanbase we're eating, but this is definitely a long summer.

Dead by Daylight has been gushing with so much fanservice lately. They are doing gods work having Jill and Claire team ups which I have given up on for the games at this point. Having Wesker and Nemmy being playable as well is so much win. Makes you wonder how different RE would of been if Wesker was kept as a main reoccurring villain.

Also, Wesker stalking Rebecca is way too meta.. now the pictures of her in his desk all make sense! xP

He's right, though. So many YouTubers do just report on minor updates, so they can feel relevant.
