It's honestly sickening what is happening to the industry. Big companies buying out all of these studios was never a good thing and we all knew it would come to this. So much unique talent gone or unemployed, it's a shame.Sad.

Even Sony with Japan Studio, while their latest epics are great in their own right, where are those quirky and creative games that were just that... games. Gravity Rush, Hot Shots, Shadow of the Colossus, Loco Roco, ICO, etc.
Leon may be the star of RE9.

Sounds like bullshit, imo. It's not impossible to send Leon to Asia, he's just an American agent who represents the interests of the American establishment, so the plot needs a good excuse to send such an agent outside the jurisdiction of the United States. And no current storyline predisposes to such a situation. I can't think of any. Kennedy won't investigate The Connections, for example, because it's none of his business. Jill can join Chris instead, and we know that Capcom has been preparing something with her for some time.
I'm tired of Leon, as all of his outings are explosive, James Bond-esque affairs. Time to bring back the horror.

To be perfectly honest, nah. I ain't gonna expect much from it since they trashed RE3.

Like I said, revisiting 1998 needs to stop, lest Capcom will be stuck in Raccoon City for good. It begins to feel like Capcom is another one trick pony, not capable of doing anything other than constantly rehashing old storylines.

There could be a Sony event soon, so I think news on the series will come this summer anyway.
Probably gonna be a case of Capcom promoting RE9 first, as the first game's anniversary is not until 2026. That will likely happen next year.
