OT OT Discussion

My new Resident Evil Umbrella website is now published and live. However, there's still A LOT of work that needs to be done. Right now, the site isn't much, because I have to create the pages and fill them in. The site will auto-update to every slightest content I add to the pages.

Right, now all I have so far is the home page with construction images; the video game page with title banners (Resident Evil 0 is so far clickable only); Resident Evil 0 synopsis and right now I'm focusing on the game covers and releases.

It's going to be a while until everything I want to put into the site is done. While I'm building the pages (based on material I have already), I'm editing the game trailers and video game walkthroughs and if any bonus videos in either 1080p HD (PS1/2 era games) or 4K (games released onto the PS5). I also have to put my soundtrack files together with cover art and make a video soundtrack on YouTube.

I will keep you guys posted whenever I finish a major task (like the entire game contents).

Most importantly have a good stay.

Well I got the Resident Evil 0 section of my website as far done as I can do at this time. I still have to insert the video soundtrack, trailers to the pages. My computer is uploading my Resident Evil 5 PS5 4K video game walkthrough VERY slowly (about 9 hours per video chapter) and I have 15 videos (8 chapters if you include a chapter 0 Lost In Nightmare and Chapter 7 Desperate Escape). I have to do this task first before moving onto more videos because the Resident Evil 5 game files and videos are taking up over 315GBs worth of SSD space just that game alone. Once they're on YouTube, I will delete them and move back to Resident Evil 0's trailers and video soundtrack.

In the meantime, I'm starting on the Resident Evil 1 original and Director's Cut 1996 game section. This one will include: images of alternate costumes, beta version images, character and enemy images, concept art images, images of the unreleased Game Boy Color version, game covers with release dates per console, game files (in image form), in-game images, images of items, ammo and weapons, maps and wallpapers, video game walkthroughs in 4K and trailers and any rare footage. In fact, most of my game sections will contain these content features.

Enjoy the Resident Evil 0 section of my site, for what I have so far.

Unfortunately I can't view traffic statistics for Resident Evil Umbrella, but I can on TMNT Forever. I don't know why one allows it and the other doesn't, because I bought the same Lite package. Also, Webador doesn't have forum abilities for their sites. If I feel like it when the site is as far finished as I can possibly, then maybe I'll start a forum site (only if I can get one for free) away from Webador and just link it from my sites.

I just finished (as much as I can right now) with both Resident Evil 1 Director's Cut and Deadly Silence in my website. I still have my huge video files of Resident Evil 5 PS5 4K game walkthroughs uploading on YouTube, which I hate to say it will be at least another day or day and a half until I can continue posting on YouTube, which will be soundtracks and trailers of Resident Evils 0, 1 DC DS. Even when I'm able to upload again after my Resident Evil 5 task is done, I can only upload up to 100 video files in a 24-hour period.

Resident Evil Director's Cut
Resident Evil Deadly Silence

With now 3 Resident Evil games mostly completed, I'm going to start building the RE 1 Remake sections.

I hope you guys are enjoying what I've gotten so far. It's 10:47 AM and I've been up all night and all day yesterday working on this website hobby. I'm taking Amino Energy just to keep myself from falling asleep.

I just got done with building the Resident Evil 1 Remake pages of my site. Now it's time to start Resident Evil 2 original. The only parts of the games below (click the links) that I haven't gotten to yet are the walkthroughs, trailers and soundtracks. Once Resident Evil 5's 4K walkthrough is on YouTube and off my computer, I'll upload more game walkthroughs of games that I've already got ready to go.

Click the game title links below to view the content at which I have already:
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil 1 Director's Cut
Resident Evil 1 Deadly Silence
Resident Evil 1 Remake

Also I didn't realize it until I did a curious search, but Resident Evil 9 Requiem already has a video soundtrack available on YouTube.

I just finished the Resident Evil 2 original section of my website, for the exception of the soundtrack and rare videos.

I don't have much on Resident Evil 2 Remake, because my original Resident Evil Umbrella site with Webs.com was deleted in 2014 before the game and some other games and movies were released. I'll do my research on it when I get to it.

In the meantime, I'm now going to get going with Resident Evil 3: Nemesis original.

By the way, I hope you guys are looking at the site and enjoying what I've got, since none of you guys has been responding about it and my Webador package doesn't allow me to view site statistics; so I don't know who or how many visitors are coming.

Looks like it's coming along fine, takes me back to the old days before wikis existed. But beyond the handful of people here I think you'll need a social media presence to get eyes on it. That being said a personal project should be for your own satisfaction first, rather than the audience numbers.

Thanks. I'm glad you're enjoying the site for what I've got so far.

The project is a personal satisfaction for me. I love a lot of things that involve working with computer projects and technology; it's one thing Asperger people enjoy and are good at. Once the site is done, which will probably be about 4-6 weeks because some of those 4K walkthrough uploads are taking a long time and the amount of audio/video files are a lot and will take time to make them Resident Evil Umbrella ready. I mean, just getting my entire Resident Evil 5 (PS5, 4K) game walkthrough alone on YouTube took 2 days and 2 night straight.

I won't be able to know how many people are visiting the site, because the plan I subscribed for doesn't have this feature.

A stat counter is something you can get for free if you wanted one, plenty of old WordPress and Blogger pages have one.

I just completed, except the soundtrack, to Resident Evil 3 original on my website. This time, getting this game finished took VERY long and I don't know why. It took about 18 hours straight to get Resident Evil 3 original as far uploaded as I can without the soundtrack.

Up next is Code: Veronica X.

I forgot to keep you guys updated the past few days. I completed the CODE: Veronica X and Survivor 1 games of my site, except the soundtracks. When I get back from the gym, around 1:30ish, I'll be starting Survivor 2 CODE Veronica arcade game, if I don't fall asleep from the workout or protein-rich frozen strawberry shake I make.

I did fall asleep yesterday after the gym workout, came home and had a frozen strawberry protein shake, then fell asleep, woke up after a call from a friend, then had more protein foods (5 tilapia fillets, mushrooms, celery and a container of cottage cheese) and that made me tired again. I didn't get to returning to my Resident Evil Umbrella site project until about 7:30 pm. So I was a bit sluggish yesterday to continue my site project.

Now I'm back on the project; I finished Resident Evil Survivor 2 - Code: Veronica; Resident Evil Dead Aim, and now I'm about to start the first Outbreak game. It's been a while since I last played Outbreaks 1, File 2 but I do remember there being a different kind of gameplay and unlocks than the previous Resident Evil games, but I need to do some research on these two games.

I hope you guys are enjoying the site so far.

As far as game sections go, I still have the following left to do:
Outbreak
Outbreak File 2
The Umbrella Chronicles
The Darkside Chronicles
Operation Raccoon City
Umbrella Corps
Revelations
Revelations 2
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 6
Resident Evil 7
Resident Evil 8
Resident Evil 9 - when I gain access to it
Resident Evil Gaiden
Resident Evil 3D Mercenaries

Oh, boy! I have a long way to go with the game section. Then the movies, I have the book covers page finished, and then the toys and misc. information including information about Umbrella, Tricell, Wilpharma, STARS and BSAA and anything else. Lastly, the soundtrack pages will take the biggest part of the time to finish this project, because some of those games have like 80 or so tracks and I can only upload 100 video files on YouTube per day. Which means I may only be able to upload 1 full soundtrack a day, and there's a month's worth of soundtrack video files alone.

I just finished the first Outbreak game and that was kind of boring and felt like a job more than a hobby. Unfortunately, Outbreak File 2 is up next and it's a little bit bigger than the first. These side story games aren't as exciting as the mainline games. I can't wait until I continue on with the mainline games with recognizable characters, but I'm afraid I have a ways to go. Just Outbreak 1 too all day yesterday and half the night tonight (it's 1:17 AM here in Chicago) and now I'm about to start Outbreak File 2 which is bigger. Why did Capcom have to put in so many items and files in these games? Couldn't they have simplified things?

Anyway, if you want to view my Outbreak sections, click: Resident Evil Outbreak.

Lastly, I'm going to go off topic for a moment. Yesterday, I learned on the news that a home invasion stand off that involved an armored SWAT team and vehicle a few blocks from my house here in Arlington Heights, IL. I don't know much more than that, but yeah, something near my house made big news yesterday. This town has been getting on the news a lot lately, whether if it's the Chicago Bears possibly moving here, or vandals damaging political offices, people getting hit by the Metra commuter train and now this.

Now Outbreak File 2 is completed except for the soundtrack and rare video sections. Now it's time for The Umbrella Chronicles, which I had to download all the files videos so I can get pictures of each file page. Same thing with The Darkside Chronicles. I don't know if this task will be as long as the other Resident Evil games I've done so far.

I can't wait to get out of Raccoon City and 1998 and get on with Resident Evils 4 - 9, especially 5, because Resident Evil 5 (PS4) is my favorite of the modern Resident Evil games. It's like Capcom has both a combination of survival horror and Call of Duty type action in it.

It took about 36 hours, not straight through, to complete The Umbrella Chronicles section of the site. The main parts of the site, such as the synopsis, characters, enemies, past items, trivia, cheats wasn't so hard. Having to make the walkthrough video in scenario sections in 4K PS5 quality; and getting the video showing each of the 107 text archives took the longest to get done. There's 107 archives and I had to watch the videos, snapping pictures of each file page, putting them into their file folder on my PC and then putting them on the site in their own file's page took a long time. This is fun work, but it IS work that's time consuming.

With The Umbrella Chronicles now behind me in this project, it's now time to get to work on The Darkside Chronicles. Like I said in an earlier post, I can't wait to get back to the numbered Resident Evil games, especially 5 Gold where my material has a lot of images of Chris Redfield shirtless in 4K.

I respect when men bust their asses in the gym to get the kind of muscle physique and muscle power that can rival the boulder puncher, because even though Chris is artificial, in the story of Resident Evil, Chris obviously had to have a sense of commitment, dedication, discipline and hard work, unwilling to surrender into quitting to build that Warrior body and with the mission to take on Wesker while Wesker is super human and still lost to Chris. Chris got his revenge on that fight he got his ass handed to him at the end of CODE: Veronica X.

Lastly, I want to ask for the opinions and suggestions or recommendations from the members of BioHaze about my site and if there's anything that I can possibly do with it to make it better and unique and stand out from those other Resident Evil sites. I really do, I want to know what you guys think about the site, since I wouldn't know because I've hardly gotten a reply since I started talking about it here.

They all do the same thing really and are probably overshadowed by the resident evil wiki.

Only thing I could think of to separate what you have from theirs is by doing something that none of them have done before:

I understand that it's been awhile since I last updated both my site and you guys on it. I've been SUPER tired for the past 5 days due to working out, and being without my Amino Energy (which should come in tomorrow) and plus the latest few Resident Evil games I've covered on my site has been kind of slow and boring. I gave up on Umbrella Corps, but I'm getting all the files from Revelations 1 after getting images of the characters and enemies and gameplay. Hopefully my energy supplements come tomorrow and I take it and it keeps me up long enough to continue on with the project and not feel sluggish.

I can't wait until I get to Resident Evils 4, 5, because then the project will start becoming more exciting. I had to face the facts that Resident Evil Survivor series; Outbreaks 1, File 2, the Chronicles, Operation Raccoon City, Umbrella Corps, and now Revelations have either been not interesting enough, or just a lot of overwhelming work. Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition PS4 is my favorite version of Chris when he's in his shirtless warrior costume; muscles rippling and showing.

Was hoping he’d respond and you know, we’d just be throw ideas at each other or something. Don’t think I have any interesting ones though.
I thought I did respond yesterday, stating that I've been kind of sleepy and sluggish lately and I thought I apologized for taking so long keeping you guys posted. You guys can give suggestions, but I don't know of anymore than I can, or already have. That's why I'm asking. I wish I could do a forum section, but Webador doesn't offer that feature on any package. If you guys are waiting on me uploading and linking the video soundtrack to the games, it's going to have to wait, because that is the biggest part of the project, because there's over 1,000 sound files, and my YouTube channel can upload as much as 100 videos in a 24-hour period.

Anyway, I got my Amino Energy, drank it and now I feel energized enough to continue on with this project. What I have left to do with the first Revelations section, besides the soundtrack, which will be the last thing on all games, is the alternate costumes, maps, and image file pages and then I can move onto Revelations 2, then Resident Evil 4, then 5 (which I can't wait because that was my favorite of the PS3-PS5 Resident Evil games.

Off topic, but Resident Evil related:
Has anyone played the new game Requiem since I can't because the most modern console I have besides a PC is the PS4? I saw some gameplay from MoistCritical and it looks like there's two possible endings: one where Leon and Grace survive and get picked up by the BSAA Alpha; and a bad ending showing Leon getting assassinated (damn you, Capcom!).
