OT OT Discussion

What I'm about to say is going to sound insane. We're all Resident Evil game and movie fans, so you may already know about what I'm going to say because it involves gaming PC parts and Resident Evil is a game that can be played on a PC.

Last summer, I was pricing around for a Corsair DDR5 32GB RAM to give my PC battle station a memory upgrade. At Best Buy, I saw one I wanted, but I wish I had gotten then, for $89.99. Problem is, that same RAM, now, is $408 at Best Buy. What the hell?!

I wish I had gotten the RAM when it was cheaper last summer when I had the chance. The only reason why I didn't is because my card debt was too much plus I had to pay for 6 months of auto insurance of $507 and I'm on government disability SSI deposits which isn't enough. If I had known last July that memory was going to quadruple in price by the end of 2025, I would of taken a chance on my card debt and get it then. Now I can't afford it; plus in a month, car insurance comes back again for another 6 months.

Bit funny reading giant paragraphs on another site and realizing it’s from users that were active here.

I’ve had this happen like three times now, whether it be related to zealously defending re6, some old gamefaq guide, or a really detailed rundown of the g virus.

We were truly before the social media phase. I'd say better times, but I respect all ends; different for sure, but certainly fond. : )

It's lunacy. I was so fortunate to upgrade just prior. I paid $269.99 for 64GB of DDR5 Corsair Dominator Titanium RAM, which was a splurge in itself. Now it's over $1300 after tax from the official Corsair account.

A little late on my end but Happy New Year Biohaze! RE9 is fast approaching, can't believe it's already 2026.

My New Year didn't start the greatest, ended up going out on a first date on New Years Eve (the first date I've been on in over a year) and honestly I can say that I couldn't wait to get home any sooner than I did. She was nice but she didn't really look like her photos (they must have been older pictures) and I just really wasn't feeling the vibe. Not a lot in common and she was only in town for a week (she's from Ohio and talked about wanting to do long distance temporarily) so I was kinda checked out after hearing that. The one thing that really killed the vibe though was that she kept having to stop and take pictures of EVERYTHING or would ask me to take pictures for her. The conversations would literally stop abruptly so she could get a picture of herself in front of a christmas tree or ice sculpture for example and it really started to drive me nuts. Ironically, we did get stuck in traffic right behind my ex's apartment building so that was also great. 🙃 She wanted to meet up for coffee the next day but I ended up canceling as that was going nowhere for me.

Back in the trenches with no potential prospects for me, starting to think it may just be better to become a hermit and just focus on hobbies and video games for a while.

Same thing happened to me, I upgraded my PC in June after 8 years

From a 1070 to a 9070
and got 2x16gb DDR5 6000mhz for like $80 or so and now is like 500$

I felt like I made the best investment of my life :ROFLMAO:

I strongly believe he won't see this post, but I'll say it anyway. I want to wish one of my favorite metal singers, Rob Zombie, a happy 61st birthday today. My favorite Rob Zombie songs are: "Dragula," "Never Gonna Stop," "Feel So Numb," and "Sick Bubblegum."

For anyone living in NY or CA that keeps up with sports, rest in peace man smh.
In what regard? I’m from NY and live in CA, lol. Huge into sports, especially baseball… but what’s this in reference to?

Btw for clarity: Mets diehard love them more than anything, Rangers hockey, Giants football, Knicks but fell off of basketball tbh. Also unless they’re playing the Mets have a lot of Dodgers love being from Brooklyn and my whole family were for them until they moved, then the Mets were created to take their place.

Yeah…just realized how broad of a statement that was. California and New York have like three football teams now. I keep forgetting that the Dodgers were from NY first even though I watch Field of Dreams from time to time.

But to explain, the Bills were close to ending their Super Bowl curse and this season was like their best opportunity to win big until they lost to Denver.

Same story for the 49ers, though I guess now any football fans in CA will just root for the Rams now?

Oh yeah, that Bills game was BRUTAL. Playoffs have been mostly entertaining this year from an outsider looking in, lots of crazy games. 49ers game was a wash, Seahawks defense is too damn good and the 49ers were just too injured. Amazing they even got that far tbh. Who’s your teams?

When it comes down to baseball considering my state doesn’t have any pro baseball teams, I chose the White Sox which was a terrible mistake in hindsight. For football, the Colts. And that wasn’t any better and neither teams have won anything as long I’ve been alive.

Not from Chicago or Indy, but I got to see Alabama win a couple of national championships but it doesn’t scratch that itch, ‘cause they kinda felt like the Patriots at some point.

It's not that big a deal to most, but I want to point this out anyway. 1980s/90s WCW wrestler Psycho Sid Vicious, I found out while searching IMDb.com that he passed away of cancer back in 2024 at the age of 63. I used to watch the old wrestling as a kid and Sid was one I remembered who wrestled such guys as The Ultimate Warrior, Ted DeBiase Sr. and Ric Flair.

In the upcoming weeks, or next month, I'm considering building a new Resident Evil website. First things first, I need to relink my Ninja Turtles videos and video soundtracks to my Ninja Turtles Forever website and some other update information to some of the pages. I do have other things in my own life to do and think about; such as trying to get healthy by going to the gym at least 3 times a week, and eat properly so I can lose weight and gain some muscle and self confidence. To continue with this, I'm considering, not committed just yet, to go to a part-time coding bootcamp for a few months since I found out from my aunt that people with learning or mental disabilities, which I do have, can get state funded schooling for free, which I'll need a note from my mental health doctor stating that I'm autistic so I can get free college or coding bootcamp. I want to learn to code web games, websites (no coding sites like I'm using now) and software so I can give the big SCREW YOU to corporate America for not ever giving me a working chance by forming my own web business selling digital products, games and services on my time in my house on my Windows 11 PC battle station. Also, speaking of fitness, I'm also saving up to pay off as much of my Visa card as I can by late March so I can get some outdoor gym equipment that my Crunch Gym doesn't provide; plus I have license plate renewal next month which in Illinois is $151 a year. So unless I can find a package on Webador that gives me a free year domain like I'm enjoying with my Ninja Turtles Forever website (the free year ends late March, charging me $72 for the next year, which would be for the Resident Evil website.

Anyway, once I get things all squared away with my fitness journey, my Ninja Turtles Forever website, maybe coding bootcamp and paying off old debts, I'll be considering forming a Resident Evil website. If and when I do, it won't be called Resident Evil Umbrella (although that's my YouTube name) which was the title I had the first time around back when I had a Resident Evil site with Webs.com before they got bought out by Vista Print and my work disappeared with my files backed up on my flash drive. If you want to see what kind of web format and layout and style of the future possible Resident Evil site will look like, click the blue link to my Ninja Turtle site to see how I did it there.

Until next time, have a nice day and I'll keep you guys posted if and when the Resident Evil project starts.

Well my Ninja Turtles website is finished as far as I can go. Now I'm getting my video and audio and image files ready to start a project involving Resident Evil and a website between my provider (Webador) and YouTube. I want to get this project going and ready in time for the 30th anniversary late next month.

I'm going to have pages with video game walkthroughs (mostly in 4K, PS4/5) bonus features, mini games, images and YouTube video soundtracks (I can't upload audio files on the $6/month plan), trivia facts, mistakes, secrets and codes. I will also have coverage on the movies (live-action and CGI), images of toys, comics, props (nothing will be for sale). I got so attached to my Ninja Turtles website renovation project that I want to do the Resident Evil web project.

When I'm ready to start constructing pages (I have to edit my video game footages to 4K HDR and upload to YouTube first), I will post a web link (it'll be temporary until I publish and pay for a domain name) here to let you guys know when construction begins. Good thing that Webador allows new domains to be for free for a year and then it becomes $6/month ($72/year up front).
