OT OT Game Discussion

Well, ever since the PS5 came out, I have only bought like one or two games in the last few years. I was broke a while back and resorted to selling my old PS2 horror games. But these days, a lot of people purchase games through Steam or they use emulators.

I kind of regret doing that. They cost a lot on eBay to get again, and that's also applied for used copies. But there was a lot of games I hardly attempted, as they were so difficult in my view, or just outright on the boring side. 🫨

Generally, I do favour the old generation because games were just more fun, and the storylines were good. In fact, the original RE2 was the game that made me fall in love with the survival horror genre. Then RE4 changed that, even if RE4 is still a great game, even now. 😅

Have updated the forums to remove the OT section as it was largely forgotten and to consolidate it into a couple of threads. OT Discussion and OT Game Discussion.

Thinking about going through Parasite Eve again. I put that game second only to Biohazard, as it combines survival horror with JRPG elements.

The sequel is a tragic story, could have been one of the greatest games ever but Squaresoft cut the budget, cut the development team in half, and told the developers to distance themselves from the source material based off of Sena's book (Sena himself was so outraged that he had a falling out with Squaresoft when the game was released).

People can forget the not-to-distant past quite easily but looking back now, the way businesses ran things back in the 90's, 00's and even the 10's was actually atrocious. Things only started getting a little better recently and business leaders are loosening up a little bit, especially since Covid 19.
