I've loved survival horror games now for decades. The downside to certain hobbies like collecting stuff is that scalping is quite commonplace on eBay, Amazon, and whatnot. There's some good RE type games available on the PlayStation store that have that retro feel, which are reasonably priced in comparison to seeking out sealed copies.
Games I knew from 20 or so years ago are selling for really high prices now, as most of them, if not all of them, are as rare as hen's teeth nowadays.
I do enjoy the hobby of collecting very much so. It feels good to receive them in the mail. But when you only receive welfare from the DWP, it doesn't go far by the time you've shelled out for food and bills. But you can normally just rent movies on Prime or Netflix, which is ideal for non collectors.
The web is full of chancers, to be honest. Blu-rays simply ain't worth 60 to 100 quid, even if they are no longer in circulation on 88 films, Arrow Video, and Severin. IMO.
