I hope RE9 will be about the Connections, or the blue Umbrella stuff that RE7 started up. That kind of abruptly ended after RE8. I mean, we do know Chris wasn't happy with the BSAA using bioweapons. But that was never followed up on.

Woah... Sony said nah, screw your Summer Game Fest. A State of Play is scheduled for tomorrow. Knowing RE's history with PlayStation reveals, I'd say its highly likely we'll see the announcement then.

It's already confirmed that Capcom will be at SGF. They would be quite omnipotent if they have people at SoP as well!

Every RE since RE7 has been revealed at a Sony event. It's not unlikely that Capcom will be at both. RE9 at the State of Play and Onimusha at SGF.

I would be surprised if it was revealed at State of Play, because Capcom chose (correctly) not to renew their marketing deal with Sony last year.
