OT OT Discussion

This decade was terrible, in my opinion. Some games we had were great, but the decade from a personal perspective, didn't do much for me. Hopefully the 2020s will.

Yeah, it was quite a life changing decade for me. I started my own business that is doing better than I originally could've though (Clean Culture), traveling the world hosting auto events and everything that comes along with it. I moved on my own to Los Angeles from New York, got engaged after a decade plus relationship and really enjoy our way of living. Very good years, I’m sure I’ll look back on them fondly when things slow down in the future. I've also experienced great loss, but have worked through it and have a positive outlook on life and am both fulfilled and content.

There's always the good and the bad every year so it is extremely hard to say if things were either good or bad. It is always a mix between the two, sometimes all it takes is one bad moment to stain a highly positive year.
The decade is going smoothly, met my girlfried back in 2010 and we're now living together for a year. 2011 also marked my graduation which was a lifechanger as far as career goes and some time later I got into Judo and could finally put to practice my passion for self-defense training, something I've always dreamed of since I was a kid.
This decade was a breath of fresh air mostly due to my relationship so I could have a bit more positivity in my life after losing my father and one of my best friends just a year and a half prior.

As far as videogames go I'd say it doesn't really matter, liking or disliking a game has no effect on a positive or negative year. For example, loving a game with a passion will not suddenly turn a bad year into a good one and vice-versa.

Talk about the Evil Dead franchise that started with a short film called Within the Woods, before being made into a feature film in 1981 that Stephen King heavily praised.

I really enjoyed the spin-off series Ash vs Evil Dead that aired on Starz. Sadly, season 3 was the last season, as they chose not to renew it. The ending kind of annoys me, as they left it open to carry on in a futuristic setting. But right after the show was axed, Bruce Cambell announced he was retiring from playing Ash Williams.

Maybe, they'll do a game or something, if Sam Raimi can convince Bruce Campbell to get on board. Or another movie could occur, such as a sequel, or another option would be a sequel to the 2013 remake.

I've only ever played the Telltale games. Amazing in general, and the last season turned out great.
I meant to get into the show but never got around to it.

Discuss the films and related media.

I have not watched any of the films in a while. The Annabelle doll is creepy, but the creepiest doll in horror movies has to be the African one in Trilogy of Terror.

That's Craigmillar Castle you can see away in the distance.

I want to shoot my next film in the woods near there. Most of the trees up the hill are fenced off, likely because of the roe deer, so there is just the pathways. We are pretending that the location is called South Ashfield, although it's actually in Edinburgh.

I wish my mate would hurry up and make a start on this episode. It will be getting too cold before too long, to be changing into outfits in the dark. The darn nettles are a nuisance too. :geek:

Just picked up a new car with my fiancé, Tesla Model 3. The technology behind this car is ridiculous, a totally different way of life really. The hour and a half drive from Santa Barbara to LA literally drove itself on Auto Pilot, it handles the road better than most drivers. It's ages ahead of anything else I've driven and is truly a smart car. Everything is accounted for, simplified and for the most part automated. The interior is so simplistic, it's just a steering wheel and tablet that controls everything. I can control the car remotely through my mobile app, set the climate, summon it to my location, etc.

It's quite the opposite of my passion, which is actually driving and having the direct feedback from the road and vehicle (my other cars are an NSX and RX7, entirely for leisure). However being the polar opposite is such a breath of fresh air (literally being all electric) for a daily driven car and everyday tasks.

I love that film!
Haha! thought I was the only one that knew about this gem.
Richard Corben did the artwork cover too - one of my favorite artists.
