so does that mean Alfred Ashford is confirmed mastermind too? he did the same in code Veronica with claire and steve. xD

Funny how this side story game gets a plant thing included, but the RE 2 remake had the original plants omitted. Shameful stuff!

Oh and I have to add on to this, just for clarity: Creatures/persons that are canon can be in Resistance, but what happens to them within Resistance isn't canon. For simplicity's sake, consider Resistance a canon vacuum.
