General How could Oswell return

You can still find in the game how gigantic Dimitrescu, who has mutated into a dracula-like form, complains of exhaustion. How much she needs blood, a lot of blood. It's the same with Jack Baker, who cried after mutating how hungry he was.

These forms are especially dramatic owing to the first-person perspective, but from a different perspective they are not even close to the largest monsters in the series.

And they is hardly different from G that, in front of Leon or Claire in the original second game, grew a functioning tissue in a matter of seconds from basically an embryo. And now imagine that this is not an embryo, but a three-meter curvy woman.
yeah but the G-Embryo could again be argued to have a better form of energy storage because it's not human, plus if memory serves it bursts out of a person, killing them then you don't see it for a while, it could be argued that it ate some dead bodies like nemesis. This carries with Jack who could've been gifted some mass from the mutamycete directly. Alcina is in that "Anime" rules category because while it could be a case like the G larvae it's not as well explained. she might be the same weight as before she transformed because she can also fly even though her wings are too small and she has a similar size to the popokarima, another giant flyer.

Super fat storage is the only way to explain alot of the cadou transfomations, this works for G, but not for the Cadou which seems to be a Easy Bake T-Virus.

You barely saw a human in Resident Evil Village. This is a game about polymorphic fungi. They may look like humans, but they have a different cell morphology.

Same with 7.

This is more of a Saddler case, because there is a comment in the gallery by Takano that the cells were clumping together.

It was my understanding that the Cadou was molded and acted as a maxwell’s demon to give people mold powers without mold problems. This is why Evelyn exists because mother Miranda knows how to make Bioweapons from the mold but was sandbagging it because she didn’t want competition. This would explain the difference in capabilities between the bakers and the lords it’s the difference between a natural disease and a lab developed weaponized derivative. The enemies in the village don’t behave like the molded, they don’t look like the molded, and they don’t seemingly possess the same hive mind provided that the host hasn’t had their intelligence reduced to chimp levels using wolf dna.
As far as saddler is concerned I assumed that because the plaga comes in two forms naturally queen and drone, the other plaga exist on a spectrum between the two. This is because the drone plaga are likely created missing DNA and exist to feed the plaga queen by infecting animals hosts using them to hunt outside, then to bring back prey to the queen. This is why they are needlessly violent and leave body piles and food all over when under the control of a command plaga, command plaga are unnatural. Additionally every plaga created from adding command plaga dna into drones has horrible consequences because the Los Illuminados likely understood the plaga better, while Wesker saw it as a tool to achieve greater levels of chaos. Because of this I think saddler just had a custom plaga that was a lot closer to the queen plaga than the rest and because of this he no longer had a human body under the robes and because Luis didn’t know this, hence why he got caught off guard, I have to assume saddler had likely implanted himself with his super plaga just before he went to take over the world.

Eveline and the Cadou parasite are somewhat the same thing, which is why they both look like a Black God:

The idea was that Miranda discovered a fungal species in a cave and adapted to it, but lost her human nature (her final form during the battle is the true one, according to Takano).

Since her intelligence did not diminish substantially (arguably shaped her to mass pollution), she could consciously control fungal processes, such as quorum sensing, for example. This is a system that allows fungal cells to send and receive signal molecules: pheromones and autoinducers.

The fungus has this system to adapt to different environments, forming mycelium or sclerotium. Molded used this system to bypass "impassable" obstacles, such as doors. They were too dumb to turn the handle, but they could disintegrate into cells and assemble in another place. Dimitrescu's daughters used this system to mimic women. When the temperature dropped sharply, they changed morphology, which was able to live in the cold.

There are polymorphic fungi in nature, such as Candida albicans, which can change the morphology of cells by reacting to environments. Fungi have two types of morphologies: yeast (unicellular) and hypha (multicellular with exceptions). And some fungi can shape-shift between these morphologies.

Miranda has become a fungus, but a sentient one, so she can shape-shift any form at will. To be more precise, the form that is indexed in the "library", and the genes of plants and animals, including buried people, the fungus usually acquired by decomposing organic matter in the local ecosystem.

When she became something new and found her daughter's consciousness inside the root, she decided to create a "vessel" that would be able to change the morphology of cells. Not just to express some genes differently in order to become an amorphous mass with metal junk, but to have the ability to change the structure of the brain to regenerate Eva's neural map.

But the thing is that many people don't adapt to the fungus. And those that don't die turn into Lycans or other dumb monsters, because the fungus crosses genes in the process of cell replacement. Miranda was a rare case, probably because she is a descendant of one of the local cultists.

And the purpose of creating the Cadou parasite was to create a "device" that could regulate cell replacement so that a human could adapt better the the fungus. This organism produces this species and controls it. Like Eveline.

The only difference between them is the fact that Eveline was created by inserting the genome of a fungus into a human embryo, and the parasite was a nematode instead of a human embryo. Nevertheless, the game hints that Miranda tried to create "Eveline" on her own, since she gave Eva's embryo to The Connections.

But even with the HCF and the organization's assistance, there were many defective generations until Eveline was created. And even Eveline had chromosomal defects, because of which she had an accelerated metabolism.

This is the way Molded appeared: Eveline's mycelium has her genome. This is a different type of fungus.

The lords were able to adapt better than the others because they are descendants of kings who were adapters. The Bakers, Ethan and Clancy have adapted better because Eveline is a conscious version of the Cadou parasite who makes decisions about who will be part of her family.

This is best seen in the DLC: both Clancy and Hoffman were infected and had the same stages through which their fingers could be fused, but in the process Hoffman became a Molded when Marguerite told Clancy that Eveline wanted to see him as an older brother.

The rest either died or became stupid "zombies" with animal features.

okay so does that mean the Mold is living as a organelle within the Human cell, a symbiote along side them, or outright replacing the human cell and just switching on human genes? Because it sounds like you're implying the latter.

Mold is an intracellular parasite that invades a cell, feeds on it, steals its genes and replaces it with a polymorphic one. This is what is directly established in the Japanese version of the files.

"The Mold gradually replaces cells throughout the body, growing while using the carrier's body tissues as nutrients."

"While carriers are being mentally assaulted and brainwashed in that fashion, their entire body's cells, including the brain, are steadily replaced by the Mold until the body is eventually transformed into ■■■■■■■■■."

So when Eveline says that Ethan's whole body is nothing more than Mold, she means it.

Cloning is narratively nothing new to the BioHazard: RE franchise but however, I don't even see CapCom cloning Oswell Spencer because his corpse was simply left there in the Spencer Estate after Albert Wesker killed Oswell Spencer and had a duel with Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine during Lost In Nightmares.

The series can still go on for quite a while, anyone that properly delves into the important facts the lore provide and twist just a little bit can squeeze it to come up with a proper sequel..

While Alex and Albert where children and supposedly the only W Children alive, through RE 5 documents we gather the Wesker Children was a big project, but later on RE 7 and Village do point to former Umbrella researcher that somehow survived and went on to meet Miranda and develop Eveline (Brandon Bailey) and strangely that E-series project was derived from the company Wesker was heading during Code Veronica (HCF).
So there is a possibility Bailey either was in cahoots with Albert Wesker prior to his death or Bailey is in contact with someone that might be impersonating Albert Wesker or is just obsessed with Albert Wesker.

I think near Village's release there was a Capcom data leak talking about a Resident Evil Hunk game, after the events of Village and seeing how Miranda pursuit of her children led her to immortality, I began to ponder that maybe aside from Spencer maybe Bailey also was privy to much of Umbrella's dark deeds and aspired to succeed where he faltered, maybe Bailey has Hunk by his side, but Hunk does defect because he learns Bailey seeks not to secure a new Umbrella but a new program that brings a new world into place... Now Bailey can't use Progenitor virus anymore but if he gets his sample's from Jill's blood or even dna from Jake Wesker.

And while Spencer had 13 Wesker Children imagine Bailey develops his squad of super soldiers clones or hybrids all fusing dna from Jake Wesker and gifted individuals throughout human history, but because it's Resident Evil 9 we would only be aware of 9 of these supersoldiers creations that Bailey shaped to be exact copies of these individuals:

1) Leonidas, the legendary spartan warrior.
2) Genghis Khan, the mongol warlord.
3) Mongolian Princess Khutulun, fierce combatant talented in horseback riding, wrestling, and archery.
3) Alexander the Great, king of Macedonia, brave warrior and world conquerer
4) Julius Caesar intelligent roman military tactician.
5) King Richard the Lionheart, commander of the third Crusade.
6) Vlad the impaler, a cruel and bloody ruler.
7) Miyamoto Musashi, a ronin with incredible samurai sword skills
8) Samson, ancient warrior capable of slaying a lion with his bare hands.
9) Thutmose III, brilliant general and Egyptian King that never lost a battle.

Hunk now unmasks himself to convince Jill Valentine and both Chris and Claire that there's unimaginable horrors next, and they must pair in two groups and deal with these new Wesker-like threats...

By the end of RE 9 only 3 heroes survive and Hunk dies but before that he handles Leon (one of the surviving heroes) a briefcase
.. Inside it he finds a special file from Ada Wong... We have reason to believe Bailey had a special final plan in case he died like Spencer he also had 13 children... And unfortunately while you read this, The final 4 bows or supersoldiers aka the 4 horseman are to carry his endgame plan, though our Agency could only pinpoint the location of the first Horseman, so take this information now.. We believe only you survivors can stop them, but you have to hurry or it will be too late as an apocalypse shall be at hand.
RE Apocalypse: The remaining heroes seek Jake Wesker in order to win the battle that can save mankind.

I wouldn't mind a prequel story about how Spencer met Miranda. That would make for an interesting insight into why Spencer started to dabble in his virus studies. But I doubt we'll ever see it. Or they could even make comics about it, which are still canon, and sort of like the other comics that are still linked to all of the behind the scenes happenings.
