General DID YOU KNOW?

Here you can share things, details or something that isn't widely known about Resident Evil series. Stuff about RE you may not know. (Remember to add sources)

In BIO 2 Chief Irons says:
"That monster that's been tearing my precinct apart is yet another product of the G-Virus. The ultimate bio-weapon."

In the original Japanese version he says:
"A viral weapon to promote the evolution of humans."

So G-Humans came straight from BIO 2.

Kawamura, the scenario write of BIO 3 also designed the Mercenaries mini-game.
He based it off the the Schwarzenegger led thriller Running Man (1987) which is his favorite film.

Biohazard Dash never existed.

The supposed story of S.T.A.R.S. members returning to the mansion after BIO 1 never had a script for it.
This was all a mix up with a trial-version of Megaman-Legends "Rockman DASH" being released alongside the original Director's Cut.

The supposed concept was linked to this artwork where the mansion was now over run with infected plant life.

we did get to see Capcom officially realize this vision finally with the release of Veronica.
the replica Spencer Mansion was covered with vine like substances as Claire was cocooned in such a plant as well.

For starters I copied Evil Resident's comment from the previous Biohaze:

All the Hunters in RE1 have vaginas on their textures and art. This is because they were all cloned from a single female.

George Trevor didn't die in that pit - he was recovered and used as a test subject. Source: News Bot and Welsh.

The G in G-Virus stands for Golgotha.

The Orthros BOW had it's head completely severed, save for the brain stem and spine. A metal pipe was then impaled into it's body and head to hold them together . A bear trap was inserted into the open neck, functioning as a makeshift mouth. This was all a part of Alex's experiments with fear and extreme stress.
Likewise, a deep cut goes along the spines of Afflicted, Orthros, and Glasps, likely to manipulate or monitor the nervous system.

As a human, Alex had eyes identical to Albert's, except somewhat more rounded and purplish in color. She presumably got this from the Wesker Virus.

The Kodoku Virus turns living hosts into unique Tyrants, as seen under Morio's mask. Dead hosts become zombies instead, like with G and Uroboros.

Excella was originally going to be killed by a Tyrant infected with Uroboros. This was presumably reused for Monster Neil, while Revenants seem be based on the Marionettes (G-Zombies made from multiple human parts stiched together) from the DMC version of RE3.5.

Did you guys know the Blobs got their anchor weapons from nearby harbor warehouses?

Spencer was conducting top-secret human experiments in the basement of his mansion. The Guardians of Insanity are the victims of the cruel experiments where innocent people are exposed to the virus. Spencer’s mansion is located near the harbor warehouses and the Guardians of Insanity seem to have access to those warehouse facilities through one of the mansion’s many secret underground pathways. The Guardians seem to wander around the area so perhaps that’s where they got their anchors.

I always liked these enemies, everything about Lost in Nightmares is great. I almost wish the entire game was set there though it works better as a flashback.
