Yes we do. This is directly before he confronts Chris and Jill.
I somehow overcomplicated the encounter the first couple of times and was stuck in an infinite loop of QTEs and scratching my head. Both viable but I usually don't wait and use the tanks to kill him for a treasure.
That's disappointing. What might happen though is Capcom will get a bunch of negative press over this and so they will decide to release a demo eventually. What we won't be playing; any demo for RE9.

I don't understand what they're doing with the marketing for this game. Seems like a lot of secrecy when the game is releasing in about 3 months. What we won't be playing; any demo for RE9.

That's a very odd choice. If it's just the Grace demo we've seen a dozen times now, I get it. I don't even think that's a good depiction of how most of the game will play. With that said, I'd expect a pretty big unveiling for TGA and leading up to launch and if that happens, a demo would go hand in hand perfectly. Odd choice for sure, but dealable this far in I suppose. What we won't be playing; any demo for RE9.

Yeah, there’s no reason to debunk a public demo I’m taking that at face value. There is none. He was wishy washy about Leon though, he only mentioned the PSN leak as being fake, which it is. Gameplay wise though there’s so much more to this game and none of it has been shown, yet it will help drive sales. Take that as you will, Leon or not, we’re going to definitely see another curtain pulled back soon. The interview about the gameplay elements from the original multiplayer foundation making its way into the game also interest me mechanically. We’ve seen so little given it’s so close.Well he said no demo and no Leon but I don't know if either thing is 100% true yet.
What felt like a wild departure also somehow felt very familiar, it really was a sort of soft reboot at the time. It's funny because we circled back to more traditional styles since, but it truly did serve its purpose. I definitely hold it many tiers above Village now that the dust has settled on both.playing re7; never gave it the time of day before. I played re4 re when it came out at a staggering 25fps but it was worth.
Honestly re7 might be my new favorite, even if it dragged on a bit after the last Jack fight. I have made a let's play hereif you want to check it out.
I love the new direction it took, Ethan had the personality of a wet rag and honestly thought that Mia is a hand mutilating monster, thankfully the canon ending+the extra game mode of saving zoe saves it for me. I love the ambience and the whole setting what can I say.
Nevermind this bullshit. I got reminded what Code Veronica really is when Chris enters the storyDidn’t know the quick turn in Code Veronica could chain into counterattacks. When a zombie gets close to Claire/Chris and you spin, assuming the timing was perfect, the missed lunge from the zombie leaves it open to being knocked down by gunfire or the combat knife.
The fixed-camera has deceptive angles so gauging the range is tough and they’ll grab me every now and then, but when it starts working consistently it feels similar to literally steering yourself to victory like in RE4.
Going to check the in-game manual tomorrow when I play it again. If there’s no guide on it that’s criminal, it could have completely saved my initial playthrough from being outright boring.
