RE9 Story expansions are coming!

Some of these things aren't really leaks, but I digress. Regardless, always happy to talk about Resident Evil aka REmake aka RE:make 🙃

It really is perfection, there's no topping it in my mind. It's the perfect Survival Horror game, the perfect example of a remake, the perfect game. Period. With that said, I still want it. RE:1 deserves to be a thing and I'm happy it'll be one of if not the last remake as it'll end up the most current fidelity wise. It deserves it.

Some more expansion if tastefully done is welcome of course, but given it's not a HUGE game like some of these others, I'd like it if they could focus on replayability. Perhaps TPS first, then unlock FPS and finally unlock static camera angles. It could be the one RE Engine title to feature it, it wouldn't feel out of place either it would be just right only in RE:1. There's so much they could do honestly.
 
I agree.

I think the remake will be undergoing numerous cuts and changes, which will bother fans of RE (2002).

One thing I don't get is how crows were in the RE2 remake, but not in the WTRC movie. But crows had a big hand in the death of a STARS member, so it wouldn't feel right if that was removed from a new remake entirely.

I'm confident a Resident Evil 5 remake/reboot will follow after it - so it won't be the last. Maybe not immediately, but soon after.

The ONLY thing that the near-perfection masterpiece that is REmake could greatly improve upon is its story/writing/characters. If Capcom meets the bar the first remake reached and then improves on those specific elements, it'll stand a chance of surpassing the original remake.

I for one find Capcom's new iteration of Jill from RE:3 the best version of her they've ever made. A much more fitting model than Voth and a much more convincing personality with an overall stronger performance - so I could see myself liking a new RE1 remake even more if they build on its characters and narrative, deepening those aspects.

But still, I'm curious to see if they do Chris justice in Veronica, first. Chris has been a mischaracterized retard since RE5 and onward (Capcom's dropped the ball with Chris the worst in Village), so we'll have to see.

I know Capcom gets kept busy because, well. They are always preoccupied. But I always felt they could have made more of an effort to clear up all the things from throughout the series, that, quite frankly, frustrates me as a fan. Even if they did an animated Netflix series to cover it, I would be content knowing we at least got... something.

What was Ada Wong's next assignment?

Where is Billy Coen today?

Will Alex Wesker attack Barry's loved ones?

Agreed and if they do RE:0 it'd be nice to see Rebecca's character makes sense in RE:1 to follow, not feel as if RE:0 never happened.
