General Some cool easter eggs people found...

Victor Gideon from RE9 has his own bust in the original RE game.

Billy Coen was... never found! But they wanted him caught, as seen by his wanted poster in Raccoon City.

Some fans assume his corpse is also this unlucky man in RE3.

However, I hope Billy did live.

It is a pity he never returned officially after RE0.

It is unique to see a character be seen in a bust or read about in a note, then they appear in games years later to cause some grief. 😅

Well, they did have a mouse writing a diary once. 🐀

Apparently, a shipping container in Dino Crisis has the Umbrella logo on it.

To be honest, I am rather surprised that a DC remake hasn't come about yet. A lot of people have requested one. And Capcom has been on a roll in recent years with these RE remakes, + the huge success of RE9.

No matter what you think of their games, they do so well with annual releases.

Other companies would probably struggle and take years to get everything in order.

One Easter egg that was pointed out on IMDb was the movie poster of Resident Evil 4 outside the movie theater before the restaurant in the original Resident Evil 3 Nemesis. After reading that IMDb trivia fact, I looked for the camera shot of the street with the theater near the restaurant to find it and yes the poster with the RE2 peaking zombie image advertising Resident Evil 4 is there.

As far as the Billy Coen wanted poster at the city hall in RE3 original, I never would of discovered it if it wasn't pointed out online, because I never pay attention to that kind of postings when fully focused on the gameplay. Not only did the wanted poster have Billy's face on it, but his exact name is above his picture. No one would of connected the dots to that Easter egg because RE3 was released in November 1999, and Billy wasn't figured out until 3 years later in RE0, his only appearance (not counting Umbrella Chronicles in the RE0 scenarios). Lastly, I just thought of something; the events of RE0 involving Billy and Rebecca was mentioned in an EX-File in the N64 version of RE2.

Let's be careful with what we see online. That's a modified background, likely upscaled with AI and then edited because the original text was too blurry to read.

Billy isn't referred at all in game prior to Resident Evil 0 and neither is Victor Gideon lmfao.

I never knew that. LOL.

Capcom needs to bring back Billy, though. Imagine a RE game like The Fugitive where he's on the run in some creatures infested place, like a military prison. I mean, we never did find out as to whether he ordered the soldiers to shoot the Africans.

That's the trouble with Capcom. They like to add in characters for a total of one game, but then never clear up particular plot points, which is infuriating. Doesn't feel important to reveal what happens to them in the future. Because I think the likes of Natalia Korda is an adult by now. Billy would be old by now, so I think this is a lost opportunity. But in the case of Alex Wesker, we know she ain't truly gone.

What they should do is have a B team do more Revelations type games, to resolve plot aspects that went unanswered for way too long. And so many fans would be grateful.

On a further note though we have this

from Resident Evil 2 N64 released in 1999, I believe Zero was already written at that time.
