Hmm, I wonder if this means any touch ups for existing PC versions or new SKU's as well? I'd really prefer some better controlling RE5,RE6 on KBM.

Eh, I'm not sure that I have much of a desire to rebuy these games yet again but its cool that Capcom is keeping these available regularly on modern platforms.

Now give us a classic collection with the OG RE1, RE2 and RE3 on consoles or PS2 collection with Dead Aim/Outbreak and I'll be there day one.

GOG is your friend. Almost any cheap laptop should be able to play RE1-3 just fine. Am about to snag them soon.

Dead Aim actually really needs a remake because that game is terribly underrated and needs a modern overhaul. Not likely to happen, but would be nice .

Outbreak is dead in the water, official servers are no longer online and it is extremely unlikely they will fire them back up again for a 20+ year old game.

Outbreak: File 3 would be nice though, but it is unknown if Capcom wants to drops lots of resources on such a risky title, especially with recent smashing successes with REmakes. Never say never, but I would say it's unlikely.

Oh I own the GOG ports. I want physical remasters on PlayStation with trophy support though because I'm a trophy whore. :ROFLMAO:

Dead Aim I'd be fine with just a remaster to be honest. It's not my favorite entry in the series and I think the T+G Virus doing what it does is such a ridiculous idea but it'd be nice to have a modern way to play it.

Outbreak I've actually been playing online with friends recently with the help of the fan made servers and it has been a blast. My only experience with Outbreak growing up was playing with the awful AI for teammates so its been a bit refreshing. Outbreak was on the NVIDIA leak years back and I remember Capcom was straight up posting new renders of updated models... I wonder what ever happened to that.

I don't think Capcom will remake 5. They could, maybe, but I doubt they will bother with 6.

Capcom is always in 1998 mode, though. I would rather not have a gazillion spin offs or remakes, that all cover the city's last week, or whatever. Because it's 2025. I feel like they piggyback off the heyday of the franchise too much. But if this money should go towards projects we want to see, then okay. It's not so bad then.

Every single Biohazard game during the Mikami years (1996-2006) was solid, even the obscure Gun Survivor games hold up well! Why should they not continue remaking them?

My big issue is how they are handling the mainline franchise. We haven't had a solid numbered Biohazard game since 4! And even that game has a laundry list of criticisms and doesn't hold up well in the test of time. Not sure why they are having a hard time finding adequate talented individuals with lots of foresight to continue the series? That's what I wanna know.

The only one I have replayed a few times was 8 but that is just because I like to plan loadouts and weapon upgrading to a specific style, which I found reasonably fun to do with this one. Everything else about the game....yeah.

I just find it tiresome that they keep going back to 1998, Raccoon City, and so on. It feels kind of pointless, as it usually pales in comparison to the old games anyway. They provide new takes on the same thing, basically. This is in spite of the fact Raccoon City ended in RE3 from 1999.

But I thought their storytelling was more linear back then, while now it feels like main characters are just chucked in games to sell them, even when the plot is utter dog shit.

I feel like Capcom needs to think about replacing Chris and co. They are getting old. Every character they introduce outside of the main ragtag crew is normally forgotten afterwards, leaving the future of new characters in doubt. And it's okay to like Leon and everybody else, but their time is getting on.

We should get together and play some online, would be a blast. I also have a friend or two who would be down.

Nvidia already stated the list contained both released and speculative titles, and the inclusion does not confirm any game's development. Sad. Would love to have played a remaster(make?) on PC.

I'd honestly consider just doing so now, it's never been in a better place.

  • Play up to 4K internally, given the game is rendered it holds up quite well.
  • 60fps patch instead of 30
  • OB Tracker: separate window to see you and your partners items, location, door and enemy health, etc.
  • Free online (playing via Japan servers was horrid on KDDI)
  • Voice chat and even stream to each other on Discord same time
  • KBM support if you so choose, works great on tank controls
Really makes it feel like an entirely new release.

I'm definitely down! I've been playing with two other buddies so sounds like it'd be easy to get a full crew going. That'd be a blast!

Oh shit. I had no idea OB Tracker existed, I'll have to get it. We've been streaming in Discord and using voice chat though, feels essential nowadays.

I would be glad to, but you would have to guide me through the installation process to a T! Never really been big on hashed together fan madey stuff but being more proactive with "the community" would probably be beneficial.
