That reminds me of re6. It's possible to survive against ubistvo's instant kill attack during intersection part with ada in jake's campaign. It puts you into a qte and you need to be saved by someone to escape. I suppose it's inspired by re4 in this case.

Looks like it's more of a bug than a replicable piece of tech sadly, also doesn't work on the originals. Still cool though.

I found out that it's possible to do it in other versions. On pc after getting attacked by a chainsaw, activating invincibility cheat through a mod does the same trick. I wonder if this will come into play for re4r, despite parrying being an option.

It's going to be even cornier than RE5 with the boulder shit. It certainly seems that way.
