RE9 Nintendo Direct Outdoor Area

This is a new area from the Nintendo Direct. I'm trying to figure out what we are looking at here?

Nintendo Direct.webp

A helicopter crash in a pine forest, some kind of cathedral on the right with what looks like a bunch of tombs in the centre. Probably part of the new Wrenwood city.

Edit: people are saying it's outside the same place we've seen Leon and Grace in already, that it's a sniping escort part with Grace below but my eyes aren't good enough (very far right under the light).

Judging by the architecture, hight of the place Leon's in, the surrounding forest and the fact that it's raining.

It's the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, the cemetery is probably behind the building.

That helicopter could be some backup Leon requested or someone working for Gideon.

So the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center really feels like it's out in the Arklay mountains forest area. Like a small country town surrounded by trees and mountains. Perhaps we will get to visit the ruins of the Spencer mansion.

In the Nintendo Direct they mentioned an up coming Creator's Voice to look forward to. I found the link to where that will be when it becomes available:

Heavy RE:4 vibes here, though it's just a screenshot of course. Simply panning the area in 2 seconds could change the feel drastically. Definitely loving it though.

I absolutely adored that specific section/angle they showed, even though it was for a couple seconds.

Incredible atmosphere.

Yeah, also movie vibes, too.. Sometimes you'd be outside seeing chaos "on the streets." This also reminds me of that scene in Silent Hill movie, where pinhead bangs at the door and a bunch of zombies are behind him..

The setting is giving RE6 vibes tbh while the sniping is more of a Leon and Ashley throwback.

Yeah or at least more so what the game tried to convey with Tall Oaks and mostly failed at. Seems they’re getting it right here. Hearing it’s as long if not longer than RE:4 and knowing we only saw so little is super exciting. Makes me think we’ll play a lot of similar areas between the two from different perspectives too.
