RE9 Impressions (Live & Post Game)

But nah, it’s just an overall solid game on all ends.

I do not doubt this, which is why I'm waiting to play this on a sale.

The current price tag is simply too high for something that is merely "solid" and "snappy".

Capcom does megasales all the time so I am guessing in the one year after release mark there will be a juicy discount on the game with all the content and at that particular time, will walk away satisfied.

Fair enough. My brother said something similar when I finished the game, ‘all that $ and that’s it?'.

It’s like two games in one case. At least that’s my way of justifying the price tag.

A bunch of spoiled rich kids? The game has sold over 5 million copies, that's a lot of rich kids. :ROFLMAO:

Approximately 20 million males under the age of 18 live in a wealthy(ish) suburb in the United States. That's 4x more than the game currently sold so I think we can safely suggest that this is a significant demographic which contributes to massively upvoting these types of AAA games on websites.

You forced me to get technical here . ":ROFLMAO:"

Any feedback whether positive or negative is coming from people who were in a financial position to buy the game (aside from content creators that were given free keys).

If you are not in a financial position to buy the game and so that's why you are going to wait until it goes on sale, that's fine. I've been broke plenty of times in my life. But you have come into this forum and said "I am boycotting this "play it safe" piece of corporate vaporware until a year or so when Capcom does one of their megasales and this is on it. Every impression I have seen points to a overall lukewarm experience, despite a few high notes". The game is one of the fastest selling Resident Evil games of all time with over 5 million sales already and the reception has been overwhelmingly positive. The idea that you can explain away the positive response as being from "a bunch of spoiled rich kids" is absurd. Any negative responses have also come from people who could afford the game.

This is absolutely an insane take to believe that the only people who bought and enjoyed this game are those that are wealthy. If you're not able to afford the game, that's one thing but this is one hell of a reach here.

I remember you being so strangely persistent that the rumors for this game were false and that Leon was not in the game leading up to release and the second he was revealed and you were proven wrong, you disappeared from the forum until recently. It sounds more to me like you've had something against this game from the start and its a bit weird. Whatever reason you have for not liking the game, you do you but you're also clearly in the minority. The game has sold and been received extremely well and there's a reason for that besides people being "rich".

He actually knew Leon was going to be in the game all along LMAO, but he was trying to play it off cool.
