I have a Resident Evil/4K TV question.
About an hour ago, I ordered a Sony 55" OLED TV from Best Buy's website. I'm excited to finally getting an upgrade from my 2017 Sony TV. What I want to know is, how will this TV make the older Resident Evil games from the PS1/2 eras look? I'm excited and nervous about looking at giant spiders in a big-screen TV with a very clear OLED picture, since I am arachnophobia.
You maybe asking yourselves: "Why is he still interested in old games instead of focusing on something new with this new TV?" Well I like games from 1986 - 2009, because games were more fun and less stressful than all the fast action games we have now; plus the 1980s/1990s were a happier and simpler time. SNES games like Turtles in Time, Mystical Ninja and Donkey Kong Country were great for their time. Resident Evil in the 1990s and early-to-mid 2000s were the most enjoyable. We didn't need special graphics and surround sound to make a game fun; we had fun games back during the NES/Genesis/SNES/PS1 systems.
