There's interesting speculation going around online, that Abandoned could in fact be a working title for a new Silent Hill game. Potentially, Hideo Kojima could even be involved in the development.

I've been watching this situation for a while and I don't believe this game has anything to do with Silent Hill and Hideo Kojima.

And people have clearly forgotten Black Hound.
