Ha-ha. A pool table where Umbrella employees pooled their cash. And I remember this was to get into the locked door where you prepare the weedkiller. 
Pool is funny. Where pubs have different rules on how to play in the morning, or the evening. And people assume 'it's two shots' when you pocket their yellows. That's allowed in pool, though. Provided you hit your ball first, your opponent's balls can be cleared.
It may depend on the rules of the league as well.
