Silent Hill has an even better soundtrack than RE, probably. I wouldn't know where to begin.
Dead Rising's is neat, as is this:

How could I miss this thread? I love talking about other games, too. Anyway, here are some of my favorites

Legacy of Kain
phpBB [video]

"Tumbling, falling, burning with white-hot fire, I plunged into the depths of the abyss. Unspeakable pain... Relentless agony... time ceased to exist. Only this torture, and a deepening hatred of the hypocrisy that damned me to this hell.

The brilliance of Amy Hennig created the series(also lead-writer for Uncharted 1-3).Damn, I love the LoK series so much  I wished they'd do a reboot of it because the writing was way ahead of its time. Loved the dark, gothic, steam-punk design and the shakespearean way of talking.

Mass Effect 3
phpBB [video]

Nohing much that I can add here regarding the game itself... Just loved the retro-Sci-fi in this soundtrack

Parasite Eve 2
phpBB [video]

Reminded me of RE and Aya was a lot like Jill Valentine...which was fortunate for me since there was no Chris Redfield or Leon S. Kennedy to take Aya's spotlight

Silent Hill

Loved the series! Thought it was scarier than RE. Picked two of the most creepiest soundtracks that used to scare the ish out of me as kid. Akira Yamaoka was a genius  The lack of atmospheric music is what annoys me with modern horror games. You don't hear such things anymore.

Silent Hill: Homecoming
phpBB [video]

Despite its shortcomings, I thought this theme was great. I find dolls kinda creepy (not that I would cry and run away, just get an unsettling feeling around them) but Scarlet took that to a next level! The music certainly helped a lot.

Dragon Age: Inquistion
phpBB [video]

Big fan of the series and this soundtrack captured the essence of Orlesian Culture

Homecoming is underated in general. It doesn't touch the first four, but it still has atmosphere a plenty and some truly inspired monster designs (anyone who knows me knows how much I fawn over that).
The first four SHs really know how to grip you emotionally and really get under your skin, and the music is a massive part of that.

I've been on my second playthrough of The Evil Within 2, so I decided to share the main themes for both games:

And it wouldn't be complete without mentioning the beautiful Clair De Lune, used extensively in both games.

I get teary eyed every time.
