Is someone sure that the President in RE6 is Adam Graham? Because the initial of his last name doesn't look like "G".

Unless he had a middle name.

It's not confirmed to be President Graham, though considering the dialogue it is likely. It would also support the theories of Ashley being in the game, but even that may end up not being true.

And good call, that sure doesn't look like a 'G.' Like you suggested, middle name perhaps?

It may well be a middle name. But the only words clear in the flash is "President" and "Adam". I paused the trailer so many times to see if there's a word before "President". I was actually looking for the word "former", but I couldn't see nothing clear beside the two obvious.

I just saw some people quick to assume that is Adam Graham, but I don't see nothing that really proves it.

That trailer is amazing speculation material!

Well, regardless if he is still President or not, he is still addressed in that fashion, and would still have a secret service detail as a guard for the rest of his life. Leon could have been permanently assigned to him just for the simple fact that he worked for them for X amount of years.

Leon was trained by the government and assigned to work for the President in 1998. Most terms are only 4 years, but can be extended to 8 if they were re-elected. That would put this President at 2006 at most and that's only if he was elected in 1998. RE6 takes place in 2013 according to the latest info. So Leon hasn't just been serving under one President his whole career. Though if another President was in office in 98 and served 4 years, President Graham could've been elected in 2002. But still if Graham served 8 years, that'd only put him to 2010.

EDIT: What Agent Wong said would also make sense lol. But this President knows about the Raccoon City incident. So he was either on the committee to approve of the destruction of RC or he was the President at the time of the RC incident.

Being he references Leon as a close friend, it would make more sense for it to be Graham because obviously he would be greatful to Leon for what he did in RE4 to save his daughter. That would form a great amount of trust between them.

And what year did RE4 take place in again? 2005 right? It was 6 years after RC incident if I recall? If the President was elected in that same year, and re-elected at the end of his term, that would put 2013 as his final year and the year of re-election again. That would work out just fine.

As far as him knowing about the RC incident, who doesn't? Everyone knew what happened there in general as it was all over the news and Umbrella's involvement was widely known which lead to their stocks plumetting and their demise. After he entered office and especially after the RE4 incident I'm sure he would have been able to find out more about the specifics of what happened there, or due to Veltro or whatever other incidents later on, he could be given full debriefing on the RC incident which would lead to his knowledge of it all.

So his decision to reveal the info doesn't mean he has to have been in office in '98. Again, he could have started in 2005, was given privy to the info, (or could have been in another political office prior to his Presidency, during the RC incident which was also privy to that info. Coulda been a Senator or something for example or Secretary of State or whatever elese) and decides to spill it publicly at the end of his presidential run.

It would work and fit in just fine.

RE4 happens Autumn 2004. But your theory would work anyway, righ? I like it.

Leon being friend of the President after rescuing his only daughter would indeed make sense.

^ That is also entirely possible. But I'm willing to bet it's cuz Japan doesn't fully understand US Presidency like brothersun said. I mean look at the location of Raccoon City. They claim it's an American mid-west state in the Arklay Mountains. Yet, it's more fitting that Raccoon City would be in the east where the Appalachian Mountains are. I don't think Capcom really does that much research into America.

Well, they call it an "American Mid-western Town" yet name it Raccoon "City". RC is definitely a city, not a town. I lived in an Urban Town (which is as close to a city as a town can get) for 25 years. It's no where on the level of what RC is.

Capcom clearly has some classification issues. Regardless, I'm willing to bet it's most likely Graham and it's the scenario I mentioned above. It just works too easily for it not to be the case.
