Indeed, but, the texture of their skin, the kabuki mask as well as the face on the one in the background (which looks just like the faces on the military majini on the ship deck in re5 with blood around the mouth) are what drove home the idea it's very likely majini are back.

Believe me, I don't want Majini/Ganados back either. I'm tired of them. Intelligent enemies is all nice and dandy but it's just the simple fact that Re4/5 used them so damn much and showed cut scenes of them coming in waves so often, they just became incredibly boring and lame. There was no fear or suspense when they were on screen. They were just 'there'.

Only time they ever were fun and interesting to fight was in the finale of DE. But, either way, don't really want them in. Sadly, they most likely will be.

What bothers me is in the trailer we can se Chris in China and Eastern Europe. Alex is also in China and Eastern Europe, but Leon seems to be only in Tall Oaks.

I think, and hope, none of the Majini/Ganados crap has to do with BH6. Instead, I think it has a lot to do with advanced strains of the T-virus such as mixing T with spider DNA, as pointed out by Dark_Chris earlier.
