Chris over Leon.

I never got how in RE4 Leon already knew Ada's involvement with Wesker.

I think part of the problem with Chris looking too big was just outfit choice.
his super tight shirt made him look even bigger.
Just look at STARS,LIN outfits he is the same size but doesn't look like a juicehead.

Chris is not the same size in LIN, that was years before RE5 and he wasn't as fit.

Chris vs Leon in terms of importance? Popularity? Or fight to the death?

I ended up voting for Chris because I feel he's certainly more important for the plot. Not that Leon couldn't handle it but Chris has often been used in more pivotal roles. He was the male lead in the very first game and in RE5 he put an end to the long conflict with RE's greatest villain, Wesker. In a fight, I'd think he'd beat Leon but it'd be close. Chris to me is portrayed as physically stronger, more of a slugger and Leon may be more quicker and agile. But something tells me Chris' experience and skill may win out. He was after all a S.T.A.R.S. member when Leon was just a regular officer right?

In terms of popularity however, I think Leon wins. Maybe not in this pole and not with me but it seems he's a fairly loved character, much more than Chris. Aside games, he's even starred in two animated films, Degeneration and the upcoming Damnation. Maybe it's the hair :)

Oh puhrr-leeze! Chris's spiky douchebag look is way more hot. Sorry, I'm not much for complimenting a game character's appearance but he's gorgeous. But the thing I love most about Chris is his personality. God I hope there's men like him out there. I'd marry them in a heartbeat. <.< He's a tough, loyal man, he may not appear to be super nice at first glance but I firmly believe Chris is the epitome of a good man. The best men don't usually prance around and sing about how wonderful life is and how happy they are, and how they love everyone and save kittens on a daily basis. The experiences I've had with men IRL have taught me that those who appear to be jackasses and a bit cold are usually the nicest, kindest men around and those who sit there and pity themselves about how "good guys finish last and never get the girl" carry way more skeletons in their closet. And let me tell you, those are some mean skeletons.

Leon is a very amiable character too, not so much in these newer pieces as RE2 because there he displayed protectiveness and courage, at the same time being naive and very stubborn. Nowadays he just appears very arrogant and kind of "holier than thou" to me. In terms of unique personality Leon would most likely win, because his personality is a bit of a rarity in games. Men are not usually portrayed the same way he is, atleast not in the games I've played.

As for who would win in a fight, that's a tough one, but I think Chris would come out the winner. Leon has had his special agent training along with the police academy so he's obviously seasoned and faster than Chris. But Chris's brute strength and just more experience on the field both as a cop and in the BSAA, would end up on top I think.

Whoa, sorry about the long post, ended up ranting a bit more than I thought to.

I agree with Chris winning in a fight, he seems older and more seasoned. Like he'd make less mistakes than Leon would.

Chris has a douchebag look? That's the first time I head anyone say that, are you sure you're not talking about Safari Chris? haha just kidding! That's interesting you find him an attractive character. It seems to me Leon in RE4 and in Degeration maybe the type of man the Japanese prefer as being more attractive. The slim, darker, and almost brooding type of guy, also younger and clean shaven.

Well yeah, spiky hair and muscles is usually associated with d-bags. And this is not my own opinion, it's just what I've heard in many contexts. I've never really had experiences with guys like these, and while I feel that the prejudice is accurate in some cases, in most cases it's just completely wrong. The prettiest people are also usually the loneliest. Then again beauty is very subjective, but that's a whole different discussion.

Leon was great in RE2, then became a true D-bag in Re4 and onward. Chris could take him any day, not that Leon wouldn't put up a fight, but, Chris was in the air force before he was in STARS, and he went rogue following STARS, took part in various anti-terrorist organizations and helped form the BSAA where he took part in more missions than any other agent, most of which were successful.

Chris has far more experience under his belt, and he's not a cocky bastard like Leon. Leon's hot headedness has gotten him into trouble numerous times. Leon got shot and betrayed, lead around gullibly, knocked unconscious, tied up, infected, controlled, and nearly killed numerous times until he was saved by Ada or someone else.

Chris may have faced some of the same problems but no where near as many and Chris has been in far more games than Leon and still doesn't have nearly as many blunders under his belt as Leon.

It's the same model used in STARS, LIN and BSAA. Outfits really can affect apperance!

Could've sworn his muscles were -actually- smaller. But yeah, makes sense, regular t-shirt vs formfitting one. I just thought it was a bit of both.

<.< Don't ask me which one I prefer.
