Kevin Durand and Johann Urb have been cast. Apparently Durand is playing Barry and Johann is playing Leon. I think they both fit the roles (even though Durand is younger than game Barry, but then again they had a 27 year old play Wesker in Afterlife). Leon and Barry are going to be leading some sort of ''resistance'' a la John Connor.

Oh and Fehr is coming back too (I hope for flashbacks, none of that clone cluster again).

Again, the whole Durand playing Barry and Urb playing Leon is a rumor (mostly started in IMDb) but I'm pretty sure it might turn out to be true later on.

No don't blame the films blame the script it all starts thire.
Extinction was not that bad because of the direction by Russell Mulcahy the best of the lot me thinks he can do no wrong Highlander
