If it was remade I'd like there to be a canon mode where all four survivors made it out.

Also I'd like to see three extra modes where you can play as Barry, Rebecca and Wesker. Possibly the Barry and Rebecca mode can be after dying as Jill and Chris carrying on as them.

Please, do not even mention LIN and Rebirth in the same sentence. LIN was fun for what it is, but don't mix up C- homage to the real thing. Quite honestly I'd want nothing changed, Rebirth is perfect as is. Let it render in HD and call it a day, that is it.

How about the knife being at the ready and not take up precious inventory space like in Deadly Silence. Also Barry being playable.

This would be amazing, but I doubt it will happen with the way the fixed perspective backgrounds are rendered.

IMO I'd rather not experience a Resident Evil remake using the current gen's graphic engines(or the one utilized in 5), because it tends to uglify objects or characters, especially on the PS3 where everything appears a bit too sharp or rigid(this is why I preferred RE4 on Gamecube vs the PS2). I don't want to lose the smooth quality REmake had. If they could get it to look like the CG animation used in the Chronicles games or the cutscenes in Operation Raccoon City(which I admit are quite beautiful and detailed)then I might be interested.

While I was playing Revelations though, I did wonder and try to imagine what it would be like if the first Resident Evil was done in that style. I don't think we should keep pushing to have the same game remade every time a new generation console with updated graphics comes out. It kind of devalues the previous version each and every time you update it.

I wouldn't change a thing. Perhaps put in a nice 3rd scenario for Wesker or Barry perhaps and a canon ending. But no co-op or OTS cameras.
