Hell, not just that, but make RE4's Mercenaries mode online and some leaderboards for CVX's Battle Mode and it's definitely a win/win. But wait, are we even sure it's a port?

Those two games in HD are a big deal for me, I can finally play some last gen games on my beautiful HD, LCD TV without it looking messy!

Chuffed. I did a playthrough of RE4 just the other week and thought to myself that if the graphics were just touched up in places this would be perfect. And CV is the most bland-looking game in the whole series, so bring it on.

Yeah it's all about translations now i guess! Though it does seem clear now there won't be any major shocks in there.

Will time my playthroughs of the original trilogy to coincide with this then.

One thing: Must be a slow news month for PlayStation 3 if the official French magazine is leading with updated ports as their big hook this month.

I havent finish either both so its good to have it hd remaster on my most frequent use console now :P

Meh on RE4. I already have two versions of the game. I'll gladly take an HD update of Code Veronica however, very excited to see how that looks.

TheBatMan is right, CODE: Veronica will benefit from it greatly. For one it's rendered, so it's easy to bump up the rendering resolution. If they go in further with it, it could drastically improve the games atmosphere too, something CV always needed imho.

So excited for both, it will be great to play them on current consoles in HD. I couldn't ask for more honestly, anything else is a bonus. Hoping for a summer release, it'd make my summer!
