As every year, Capcom will be attending the Game Developeres Conference. Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D will be shown at the Nintendo booth and available to play for the general public.

GDC 2011 runs from February 28th to March 4th on the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.

Update: gamrReview's hands-on with the game reveals that (according to a Capcom representative at GDC) there will be 30 different stages in the final game, and a slew of other new objectives compared to the mini game version in RE4/RE5. Read more here.

Nope, we will be providing any new info, trailers and screenshots that are released though. Yama's on Japan right now, so who knows what he will bring to us in terms of RE.

New info from GDC:

According to the Capcom representative at the conference the final game will have 30 different stages (and weather variation too). More characters will be announced shortly and will have new objectives to complete compared to the version in RE4/RE5 (maybe something along the lines of RE3 Mercs?). I still can't stress my disappointment that this game won't be newly released to PS3 or 360. This 3DS better be able to cook me dinner at night because I want this game now!!

At 30 stages, that means my purchase is guaranteed unfortunately! Was barely interested at the idea of recycled stages, but i'm well in now.

Must every Mercs/Revelations thread need to descend into this?
