Alright I was hold out to ask these questions until about a week or two before I got the game. There are a few things I would like to know before I make my KDDI accout and start playing online, so if someone could fill me in that would help.

1- When making my account should I not make it all in english characters or should I just stick with makeing it full japanese.

2-Can I get by without saying anything in lobby, as in join a lobby and just sit there untill the game begins.

3-Is there anything I should keep in mind of doing or not doing when making my KDDI account and playing online.

If anyone would be so kind to anwser these questions I would greatly appreciate it, also would anyone like to join me in some games when I do start playing?

Your name and whatever address should be in Japanese. You can enter your e-mail and created password in English.

You can get by without saying anything.

People generally say an introductory phrase which you can say back via the phrases on the soft keyboard. I've come to know when they ask if everyone is ready and there is a phrase you can type to say OK to that. If you don't speak, they'll probably start anyway.

3-Is there anything I should keep in mind of doing or not doing when making my KDDI account and playing online.

When joining rooms, be careful of the room titles. Some may suggest heading over to play F1, Nightmare, Survival, Panic, or weapon or character specific runs. Take a look at these:

Thanks for the quick response, yeah I was already going to be careful about what games I do join cause I mean I don't want to join a game and be in for something completely different for then I thought. As for the pharses I already saved those from another thread, can't remember which one, but that for all the info. I mostly needed to know about the KDDI information cause I know some people had some problem cause of their account names being in full english.

After this, you click the button on the left. 5, 6, and 7 aren't actually correct, but I've filled in my account like this before and am still online today. This has also worked for someone else. This should work for ya.

Seraph explained it all well, the only thing I can add is prepare to be banned for no reason other than being overseas. I've entered accurate Japanese credentials from my Uncle's place in Japan, only to have it terminated due to an overseas C.C. or accessing I.P. It makes little difference. When banned however I find they stop charging and you can easily sign back up again, so don't worry much. It's a five minute procedure tops, less if you use the link provided above on your PC.

Keep in mind that the KDDI page frequently experiences maintenance. In this case, you'll have to wait until it's completed before you can access the sign up page. They post the hours of maintenance on the page (hours follow the time in Japan).

I have been playing since December of last year and have been banned once so far.

Yeah I'm fully aware of the banning issue and it's not to much of a problem as long as they cancel the fee so I can just sign up again asap. Besides I love this game way to much to let something like alittle ban every now and then keep me away. On a brighter note my copy should be in next week so yay for that.

Also I should have asked this before but I will be able to play online via swap magic right?
