I meant to see their dead faces better.

Is there anything in the game's files to suggest that's what they are? I've only skim read them briefly.

If not, it could just as easily be former employees who for whatever reason just knew too much.

Well I think it is just a matter of putting two and two together. In RE5, we saw one fall out of one of the test tubes in Chap 5-1. Later on the conveyor belt Sheva or Chris comments about the bodies laying down that they must be the test subjects.

In LiN, one of the files talks about test subjects in the basement. We see some in the prisoner cells and then later some of them try to grab us. So we aren't told specifically what they are, but its safe to assume they are just test rejects. I am still confused as to what they were tested with. Progenitor virus? Uroboros failures mutate horribly, these just seem to lose their flesh and become sickly.

But uh yeah ok, if you want to label them zombies because they are mindless and either almost dead or dead but moving...go ahead. They aren't the t-virus zombies that RE is known for though...not by a longshot.

Progenitor Virus test subjects make the most sense. In both RE5 main game and LIN, Tricell/Spencer were testing people with viruses and neither of them turned into zombies (or Uroboros in the case of RE5 main).

Just found a really annoying "glitch" during the puzzle in the cells area, if you kill more than one keeper of madness at once basically you're fucked and forced to restart the level from the beginning. :-/

That happened to me too when I restarted from the checkpoint after killing two at once, but I found the 4th piece in the water near the emblem pedestal.

Anyone care to confirm the amount of new files? I have 8, all of which are located on the first stage.
Patricks Memoirs 1-3
Spencer's Journals 1-4
Keeper's Diary {Bit odd this one but why not?}

Are there any on the later stages?

The Keeper's Diary was a pretty cool easter egg.Im just wondering how it get out of the Arklay Mansion?

Well it couldn't have been Uroboros. Uroboros turns them into the black, slimey things when the host rejects the virus, so.
I'd put my bet on Progenitor as well.

Highlights include Jill demolishing the piano with a shotgun after failing to open the door for the 20th time, Chris (Seraph) having second thoughts about travelling under anything that Jill is required to hold up, and the awesome knifing method we found on the Keeper of Madness. It requires both players to get really close, so that the Keeper can only use his choke hold attack. Both players knife him in the legs so as to not get hit by acid, and one player breaks the other player free every time they get grabbed. Worked flawlessly.

Uh-huh.

You probably could have left me there. Still, got a kick out of your piano troubles. There's more time to hit the notes than you would think. I played through the whole song; it just loops if you feel like playing it that long. Agent Wong mentioned Chris shooting the red button instead of waiting for the wall to open completely, which helps too.

Also me and Wong managed to knife a Keeper without suffering any damage. It was just turning in place, repeatedly. Not sure how it happened, but both of us were knifing on either side of it. Took much longer than purposefully getting grabbed. The saving melee must do quite a bit of damage.

I too am interested in seeing Jill's attack combo on Wesker. If anyone manages to pull it off, make sure you post here how it happened, and if it's a copy of Sheva's.
