The last movie I watched was Rambo: First Blood Part II. Nothing like popping in a Stallone classic. To be honest, the first movie was much better than this one. Basically if you were looking for more action from the first you definitely get that delivered in full force with the 2nd film.

Part III is also pretty decent.

Can't wait for Creed II. Ivan Drago is back. Enough said!

The last film I watched was the first The Godfather. I've seen the film many years ago but never really got into it all that much at the time, and didn't get the whole big deal about it. It rests as one of the top rated movies on IMDb, often trading spots with The Shawshank Redemption.

Anyway, enjoyed it this time around. I've never seen the other 2 parts, so I'm definitely intrigued to see the rest of the remaining trilogy.

Seen Annabelle: Creation online (yeah, I do that, but I won't promote links) and I don't get the hype. It felt very generic. It's about as scary as a "Goosebumps" episode with some eerie things and not really much logic. Very lacking in gore too, although supernatural horror movies don't always require gruesome imagery. The doll didn't even really move much at all, and it was really a demon doing all the killing anyway. It ain't a bad movie, but it's nothing new.

Inhumans parts 1 and 2 in Imax. The less said, the better.

I also might be in the minority, but Netflix's Death Note was, in my humble opinion, fantastic. Deviated heavily from the source material, but Adam Wingard (The Guest, You're Next) ended up making a semi-80s inspired thriller with some camp and humor brought into it. The characters are rooted in Americanized backgrounds so their motivations differ although it does offer glimpses into the aspects we know and love from the manga. Much better of an original take than anything Paul Anderson has done with Resident Evil. And Willem Dafoe is Ryuk... enough said.

Netflix seems to be the right place to premiere good adaptations lately. Castlevania, Death Note, hopefully we can get a mini series based on RE someday. Whether it be in an animated style or live-action.

Very true. Between their own Marvel lineup, Their anime (little witch academia and ajin stand out for me) as welll as the specials like House of Cards, Bojack Horseman and F us for Family... I have to say they are on top of their game. But they aren't perfect as some content they usher out (Bill Nye, Amy Shumer, Adam Sandler related) has come out as shite as of late. Almost tempted me to cancel my membership. Almost.

No. I have a friend who wants to see it with me, so I held off.
Planning on it, though.

If this has to do with my avatar pic, the similarities are no coincidence.
It and my previous one are works by the late H.R. Giger.
He was the one who designed the original Xenomorph, the Facehugger, the Space Jocky/Engineer, and the alien space ship.
