I'm having issues with Ndesu on pro. -_- I honestly suck at the dodging though. I swear to god, when ever I think it'll be the blue button, it's the red one. And vice versa. But it's definitely easier playing with an AI partner here.
Most people I play with shoot the barrels just randomly, and I'm like "WTF!? Save those!"

It's actually simpler than it seems but people really panic at the frequency the majini regenerate. Focus on Ndesu, AND ONLY kill them if he's stunned (when he's hit enough and falls back a bit, not when the big plaga is sticking out). Never shoot them when Ndesu is at a distance either because any missed bullet as he's walking towards you means that he'll be able to stomp you.

With that said, watch your QTE's and make sure you don't overheat your gun. As soon as the plaga sticks out, both you and your partner shoot as it while ignore any projectile the majini may throw at you. They don't do much damage compared to the havoc he can raise. If you do that, you can take him out on the 2nd time the palga sticks out.

All this is old news to me :( But thanks for the reminders. Like I said, mostly I just have clumsy partners or someone (me especially) misses the frickin' dodge chances. Those do a shitload of damage on Pro and you can't really afford to be hit. What happens most of the time though is that most people seriously fail to see what the oil drums are supposed to be used for - that is, making him drop the boulder or the wooden staff he picks up.

I heard that a smooth way to not let your guns overheat is to tap the fire button quickly, rather than holding it down. Not sure how efficient it is but supposedly this will stop the gun's heat from going up.
However this only works sometimes... Not advised when he's charging towards you etc.

Well there is the issue QTE online lag; sometimes you can't help it. Also during the few times I tried the 360 version, I felt that the button input for them is a bit sluggish. Seemed that I had to press them all the way down, whereas it's a bit smooth on the Dual Shock.

REALLY? I could have SWORN many of the times I hit the button, but it just...doesn't go through. But usually when you say that people think you're just using it as an excuse. :)

I'd love to play with ya, Mr. Rod. I'm usually on every day/night (depends lol), but I've been a bit occupied these last couple days.
Name's Kristina btw :D

No, it really does happen on varying levels. Especially the further you are from the person you're playing with. Kind of like the issue of fighters online, it's really lag sensitive.

The Ndesu level is the hardest level on Pro simply due to the fact that no matter how good 'you' are, if your partner doesn't pull his/her own weight, you're not making it through. It's the one level you can't simply 'run' your less skilled partner through. Trust me, I know.

I had one friend who even on AMATEUR kept making us die on that level and at Ndesus like 90 times because he wasn't shooting the right stuff, and he couldn't perform a QTE to save his life (quite literally).

I can't deal with molotov bike riders and two armored trucks at the same time solo and we'd always get killed because he didn't do his part of the job. Then at Ndesu he'd always fail the QTE's and be shooting the majini instead of Ndesu.

To Mr. Rod and whoever else might be interested in playing with me...

Keep in mind that I am in Europe, Central time, which means that if you live in America, or MExico or whatever, I am a few hours ahead of you :) so please don't come and ask me to play with you when it's midnight for YOU, cause that's like 5-6 AM for me, hehe.
I'm sure we can work some times out. We just have to post our schedules/time differences and such.

Am dying to play with you guys btw!
