the beep sound effect is so cool on the power and eject button. fat360 sounds just like a pc powering up lol

I finally got a non-Kinect game for my 360... Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War. Wow, a lot more strategy than I was expecting. I just wanted to be Joan of Arc and destroy a million English soldiers ;)
I might return it and get Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage or Samurai Warriors instead.

So I randomly decided to check my profile tonight and noticed half a star out of the 5 I had went missing. I checked the reputation tab and it says "38%" of the people avoid me? Wtf? When I looked at the details, it said 33% thought I was disruptive (what... the hell?) and 33% thought I quit early. While the quitting early one might be true, I can't predict when I have to go, I don't have time to type out a response about it to the other person, and are people really that stupid to "report" someone cause they have to leave in a rush?

Anyway, I don't think this is more than one person, 2 tops, but still it's really frustrating to be downrated by some random asshats. Disruptive? How the FUCK would I be disruptive? I don't exactly join peoples games if they don't want me there and I don't have my microphone on with randoms, so how would I bother them?

I'm noticing tons of other people have 5 stars. So I'm starting to wonder. Am I really that big of an ass without being aware of it? Or have you guys been downrated for stupid shit as well?

Happens all the time... with randoms. I once got downvoted because my connection fucked up during an RE5 versus match and the guy got mad. That is the only negative vote I have, hence why I still have 5 stars.

It doesn't bother me one bit, some people are incredibly sensitive, even despite telling them that it was out of my hands. Meh, one more reason to avoid randoms as much as possible.

Those percents are totally off.
I have some massive unsportamanlike and trash talking. I never talk to randoms ever so how can I be trash talking? It's just people raging when I beat them really badly at L4D or Marvel and they think they are getting back at me.

I have a ton of avoided, some that don't even make sense. They put whatever they can to help feed their salt. The better you are and the more rape you hand out, the more negative you'll receive. Nobody appreciates good competitive play, they just want to win. Reach, MvC2 and now KOFXIII have steadily shot my avoided up, which lets me know I'm doing things correctly. Haha.

Also, the system is busted. It says % preffered or did not submit a review / % avoided. If that were the case, based on the thousands upon thousands I've played with and maybe a couple handful of negatives I received, I'd be 99% or so. The fact is, the system doesn't work and never has. It only counts people who prefer or avoid, not didn't submit a review. It's asinine too, considering very few people will go through the trouble of preferring a player after a good match, they'll likely just say so and leave. However if you annihilate someone, their more likely to get butt hurt and will be the one to go through the trouble to leave a negative. So all in all, you'll be getting much more effort towards negatives than any other neutral submissions.

In the end, laugh at it. It's a juvenile system.

Haha, I suppose you're all right. The first time I saw it I figured it was an excellent way for whiney kids to have their "revenge". Besides, some people are douches in general and would most likely give negative feedback for the hell of it. I'll just have to play with more people and see. And hope I don't group with morons.

The feedback system is pretty pointless. You only lose a star if you have more negative than positive. And yes Yama, they do count the % of people who didn't submit a review, that's how you can keep your stars high even though you'll have more people submitting negative feedback than positive, because most people won't submit a review and that % will always be the highest.

Regardless, between RE5, Soul Calibur IV, Marvel vs Capcom 2, 3, and UMvC3, my 'rep' has hit a truck ton of negative feedback. I have negative feedback for bad language, disruptive voice, trash talking, rage quitting etc. when I don't even use my mic 99.9% of the time in a match with randoms and very rarely ever rage quit. The only time I ever rage quit in matches is against the morons on RE5 who did it to me in previous matches just to give them a taste of their own medicine.

Regardless, the Rep system does nothing to or for you. It doesn't hurt you in any way so don't even worry about it. If you lost half a star it's most likely that you dont' play online that often and when you did some idiot(s) happen to give negative rep so you don't have the large % of none feedback in your favor to help keep it from dropping. Either way, it'll be back up soon enough, it's very rare for someone to play online often and not have 5 stars even if they're the scum king of the universe and rage quit and trash talk in every single match and game they play.

So yeah.




And on a completely different note, my Xbox is pretty much fucked. Keeps shutting off and flashing 2 red lights after 5-10 minutes of playing any game, which means it's overheating. But, I've taken it apart and cleaned out all the dust on it, propped it up off the ground, put a huge fan on it, put my laptop cooling fan on it, propped up the power supply, replaced the power supply with a new one etc. and it still keeps happening.

So my xbox is pretty much worthless right now and I can't afford to get a new one at the moment. So I'm essentially stuck without my xbox for the time being -_-
