This guy deserves more publicity. He's been working on a way to create new servers for outbreak and so far has done a fantastic job. Sadly this means the only way you'll play this is probably through a ps2 emulator. However it seems simpler than what had to be previously done.

Seeing that outbreak shall officially be ended on july 1st. I think he is our last hope.

Indeed he does deserve more publicity. And who says the emulators are the only way? Very good work to change the the gateway on the login page.

This guy sure does deserve our support and attention. Sounds like he is getting some good progress done.

Wouldn't he need a ton of resources to get it done? I think there is a better chance of seeing the old outbreak games on PSN/XBL than this actually materializing.

The newest one that Capcom recently announced is just a mobile app or a download for a social networking site. Still, it leaves a bit of hope, no matter very small or what. I would like to see a console based sequel, however. But I'm not sure that they will if they are doing the SOCOM game instead! Who knows?

On the subject of the social game, what happens when Outbreak fans can't get their own way?
