No, if he's illusioned with overconfidence, that means he has a distorted sense of confidence (he's too confident) - he's full of false assurance, he's being presumptuous. Blindly declaring his victory already.

If he's disillusioned, then he would wake up and realize what he's up against is serious and wouldn't be so arrogant or making jokes. He wouldn't be overconfident at all and would refrain from being so presumptuous.

That is why he should have used illusion instead. It's like they confused the definitions.

If the historyline of RE4 it's more from what we can expected, what "new" can have that kind of sentence, besides, Saddler in that topic have seem to be really sure about that he will gonna win against Leon.

Anyway, I meant, that the sentence of Saddler it's doesn't matter, because all the history of RE4 is different as we know of original's RE, so like RE5. I dunno if I'm explain me now.

I had just thought while opening this topic ; if everbody can speak English and understand each other (whether using simple or advanced English) in this forum, so they does not require an explanation for this - non-archaic, non-futuristic - sentence. But as it seems ; I was wrong.
