You should! Im playing on hard right now, and its kicking my ass, its my third playthrough of Zero.

I would just make both of them stick around because sometimes you would need one of them for a puzzle or something, and they could kill a couple of zombies for me too.

Ah man, my last comment was in April and i haven't play Zero after tht time when i was addicted to it. BUT no worries, i will play the whole story again and tell u where and when to conserve ur ammo :P

The guide books on Amazon are not cheap. They wanted around a hundred and forty quid for a walkthrough book of this game. No joke.

I love the strategy guide for Resident Evil 0 it really helped me when I was stuck when I first started.

The only ammo conservation rule to note is to not bother killing zombies in rooms that you are only going to go in once, for the most part anyway. That's what I did. Just bobbed and weaved around them.

Good advice in general, and with Zero, patience and liberal use of the map to find out where you're dropping the ammo in case you need it later. Once you finish the game once, the playing through the mini game to get infinite ammo weapons helps a lot to streamline the game.

I think I have the strategy guide somewhere since back then, I used to get them whenever I bought the games. Though really, it's just a typical cookie cutter Birlew written guide. Nothing like the fantastically detailed and entertaining Versus Books guides from the 90's for RE2 and 3.

I loved the Versus books, had the one for Resident Evil 2. What strategy guide even went as far as to give gameshark codes that unlocked pre-release assets? Too good.

Too bad they went out of business, but every single one of them was as detailed as it got, even if they weren't "official". Case in point, the RE2 one, and they were just plain entertaining to read.

I'll scan it sometime this weekend when I get the chance.
