So basically you are admitting that you dislike Sheva because she is new. Because Jill, and particularly Barry don't exactly have amazing character development to build on as it is.

As for LiN, I really didn't care for it. Chris/Jill are my favorite characters, and REmake is quite possibly my favorite game of all time. However, LiN just did nothing for me. It was just boring in general. And again, Ikari pretty much summed it up. You are indeed biased against Sheva. I don't know if you see it, but it is incredibly blatant. And as for Jill being "witty," I highly disagree. Many times I wanted to just tell Jill to shut the hell up. I rolled my eyes when Jill said, "I guess I am getting older." Wow Jill! How incredibly observant of you. And I hate her one line "You sure know how to keep a girl waiting..." Really, Jill? Really?

I liked Desperate Esacpe because it is in the same vein as Mercenaries. Not to mention, Battlesuit Jill and Josh are my two favorite characters to play in their respective mercenaries modes.

Funny how you all are talking about something I said nothing about. Never did I say the gameplay was different, I was simply asking how other members viewed the difference between playing one of Chris and Jill's missions from an atmospheric perspective as opposed to having to play with Sheva.

This pretty much proves you all will cling to any little thing to prove your points (even if they don't exist), and are extremely stubborn. Congrats to all three of you.

And did I not just answer THAT question? How was I being stubborn as well. I haven't posted in this topic in awhile because I think its a futile argument. You asked a question I answered in MY opinion. Your either having double meanings in your question for the sake of argument or you just want to negate everything that's being said.
Don't worry I won't post in this thread anymore because its a waste of time. We need to except we all have opposing opinions. Let it go.

You're right, I responded quick and grouped you in with the last two responses unfairly, I apologize.

It's alright man. Like I said I have nothing against your opinion just sharing mine.

You blatantly stated:

Quote:
I want to ask one question, seriously. LiN was amazing, and to me the co-op didn't seem forced at all.

Quote:
My question is, did LiN not feel 'forced' to anyone else?

When absolutely nothing about the co-op changed. Chris and Jill being on a mission together is no different than Chris on a mission in Africa with an African BSAA Member to guide him through the local.

Again, it's just simple bias that you like Jill and therefore are jumping to hate on Sheva for replacing her. You've used the 'forced' argument for co-op and Sheva repeatedly in all of these topics. But, as soon as jill is the partner, the 'forced' co-op dissapears in your eyes. That's exactly what I rebuttled against. Co-op is forced only based on the character involved according to you. And that is just silly.

and a flamer.

And if you think someone is a 'douche bag' solely for being a 'flamer' in general, you're even more ignorant and sad.

No, I was just saying them as two different insults. If someone is a "flamer" it does not make them a douche bag.

And to Knuckels, Agent_Gundlach, and anyone who took offense; I apologize. I was not trying to offend you, but the character of steve. Didn't want to upset you guys.

Sorry to bring it up again, but wanted to apologize folks.

What is that even supposed to mean? I've been playing RE since it's debut on the saturn in 1997. If I recall, you didn't even get into it until far more recently, and aren't even that into a lot of the older games that much.

Despite being an 'old' fan, I can still respect the 'new' stuff, and 'new' chars and not hold grudges because "OMEG JILL ISN'T THE PARTNER!". My comment did nothing more than reflect the 'acceptable' and 'realistic' notion of Chris + Jill on a mission = believable and 'fits' just as well as Chris + 'local' BSAA member on a mission together 'fits' and is 'believable'.

Yes, but the problem is in trying to 'offend' steve by calling him a *I will be banned* basically. What you were saying is quite literally "Steve sucks because he's a douche bag and a *I will be banned*." Obviously, gay and gay friendly people are going to not be too thrilled by such a comment as it is insulting.

No hard feelings meant, I just hope you understand exactly what the problem was. Insulting someone for their sexuality or perceived mannerisms isn't much different than when people insulted and persecuted african americans for their race, or deemed women inferior to men due to their gender.
