Playing COD: World at War. On Veteran!!!!! Who ever said that WAW was easy should be shot. It is not. I hate it and it is broken.

Its beatable. Trust me.

The only thing that ticks me off on WAW is that the game resets your campaign and death card progress from time to time...

It just takes a kind of patience that I quite frankly do not have. There's only so much I can take of have 300 grenades lobbed at me every other second and infinitly respawning enemies that don;t stop unless I pish forwar but I can't because the second you get from behind cover every single enemy gun is pointed at you but if you don't move the aformented 300 grenades come flying at you.

And for those of you who haven't got Black Ops yet, Veteran is just as bad on that game as well. The grenade problem is fixed but you can't take maybe one and half hits before dying with hardly any visual warning to tell you to get to cover and there are bullet sponges for enemies from level 2 onwards.

And I thought Call of Duty 2 on veteran was dumb. o.o At least those enemies died when I shot them...

Played and beat Forbidden Siren 2.

Like in the first, I really liked the non linear story design, it was interesting. But sometimes bits felt a bit dues ex machina-ry because of it. If you can wade through the convoluted and vague plot hints, it all makes sense in the end and is quite cool.

The gameplay was much easier in this one, as well as the puzzles. The first was massively hard, kinda like the Oddworld games, in that you have to be incredibly precise in what you do, except you also don't have any earthly clue to what you have to do so you have to first figure that out. It was fun, but Siren 2 was made much easier by a more action orientated gameplay, and most characters have guns now, and there are hints telling you what to do as well.

It still was a fun (and sometime frustrating) experience, but not as fun (or frustrating) as the first.

The best missions were the ones were you played as children, or teenage girls, since the gameplay was the most stealthy in those missions and you had no weapons, or very weak ones. They were tense and there were some really cool unique situations I've never seen in any other game in those missions. The guys all had guns or heavy/sharp objects, which made it far easier, make a mistake, just shoot/bash your way out if you've got a good enough aim.

The two enemy factions, the Shibito (from Siren 1) and the Yamibito (new enemy's, who can't go into the light) waring with each other while the humans are stuck in the middle was also cool. The level in the schoolyard, where a Shibito takes a joyride in a truck and starts running over Yamibito while you are sneaking around was an especially cool mission.

I'm playing Goldeneye for the Wii. Which is actually pretty good. Flawed but good. They did a good job keeping the Bond feel of the original while updating it and my friends and I are having a blast with the multiplayer. Anyone else check it out yet?

Also, been playing Naruto: Ninja Storm 2 with my buddie. Never saw the series but the fighting is really smooth while being complex and simplistic at the same time. Its a much more solid fighter then I would have thought.

Never been a favorite of mine, but Silent Hill 4: The Room is where I'm at now. I finished Silent Hill 2 and I've skipped 1 and 3 for now. I'm at the bit where you visit Silent Hill Woods with Eileen. That Walter nutcase is always on my trail, and never lets up for long. It is hard trying to keep an NPC safe and achieve the best ending by lighting candles in your apartment when u cannot leave a lady alone for 5 minutes. Thank fuck I'm using Action Replay MAX. One of the disadvantages of that is the items don't disappear from my menu when I use them.

Red Dead Redemption, most notably Undead Nightmare. Fantastic DLC. I expected it to be a mindless zombie blasting fest, but it's actually quite involving and atmospheric. The cutscenes are great too, especially the intro. The way John Marston handles that first zombie is priceless. The way the main story characters are integrated in to the zombie apocalypse is seamless, and pretty hilarious at the same time. I can't wait to find some of the other characters. The first encounter with Seth just made my day. Overall, an incredible value for $10.
