I dunno if RE5 is hard for everyone, but I am playing the 1 player mode with Chris. My concentration isn't what it was. I once played it with my sister as Sheva and the camera was so jerky, and I guess I missed out all the valuable treasures along the way, which probably didn't help matters. Lol, I realized that in the first level right after the butcher gets beheaded, all I had to do was go up one of the watch towers in the enclosed village area to await the chopper to blow up the Ganado people, where I was safe. Ended up just staying on the ground where I wasted too much ammo. Duh! Lol.

I also realized that on the bridge past the giant containers, I just needed to use the MG to rapidly fire at the barrels and/or the truck's engine to make it crash sooner. I guess u learn as you go along.

Be honest, now: That four way mirror puzzle was hard!

They are Majini.
Also, yes, its amazing how much stuff you find the second time through.
On the side topic, I also started playing RE5 again, preferably Mercenaries Reunion.
Been having some great times, it brought back that "Don't be a Hero!" feeling I expierenced in (World At War's) Nazi Zombie mode.
I've had a pretty epic encounter as Barry when I was facing the (Red) Executionar in the basement level of the Prison.

And yes, the Mirror puzzle was hard the first couple times.

'Hanks...

I actually tried to play Bad Company again after hitting a little boredom with MoH, and immediately quit playing after one online match. Half of the defending team (of which I was on) were just TK'ing everyone trying to defend the objective from the other team. Actually pissed me off for the first time in a while. So I went back and finished the last achievement I needed for Oblivion and played MoH some more.

I've been playing Bad Company online recently too. Loving it, and have not experienced that before.

I don't know how people can play MW2 over Bad Company.

I've been playing Dragon Age: Awakening. I am in love with this game. The banter between Oghren and Anders especially needs mentioning as it would win awards if Dragon Age was a film. I'm almost done exploring the Wending Wood at the moment and have a decent way to go, but already I can tell that Origins and Awakening partnered together is something to rival games like Silent Hill 2 in the care taken to create the world and the story and how deep it all is.

It's not hard because you used a walkthrough.

Actually, I completed the puzzle without even knowing what I'd done, so I can't get that lucky twice.

If you have ever played a platformer before you will have encountered that puzzle type a fair few times. I immediately figured it out. It isn't even original.

Horror fans seem to forget that Survival Horror is not the only genre to make heavy use of puzzles. The best and most complex gameplay mechanic related puzzles are always found in platformers, horror has the crown in thought provoking riddle puzzles however, which tends to leave some horror fans being snooty about other genres.

I'm about 20 hours into DA: Awakening. This game is more like a sequel than a mere expansion pack. I am currently exploring the Blackmarsh which has to be one of the saddest and most haunting locations in a video game ever.

No, it's not hard because it's the simplest, saddest excuse for a puzzle in history.

But if you had trouble with it, no huge deal. Maybe I'm just more used to puzzles in games then you are, we're all different.
