A new RE 3DS game was shown at the Nintendo conference, it is RE: The Mercenaries 3D. It is a separate title from Revelations. More news as it comes in.

Those graphics are ridiculous.

Not convinced though. This is going to need A LOT of maps to convince me it's worth a purchase. That, or a low pricepoint. Would rather see new maps as well rather than simply RE4 and RE5 maps recylcled.

Oh, and let this be another nail in the coffin of Outbreak too.

This is a great idea, Im pretty excited for this. Sounds like a dream for resident evil fans but only if it was a on PS3/360. Oh well Ill deal with it... looks like Im buying a 3DS for sure now, lol.

I assume that Capcom will transform Mercenaries into a deeper experience. Maybe add goals, objectives, something to make it worthy of a full game. If done correctly it could be really cool. If it is just maps stuck together it wont be worth it.
