RELINQUIISH YOUR SOOOOUUUUULLLL the MMO thread is here, I noticed there wasn't one and even did a few searches. This is the place to talk about life-sucking online games like FF14 and WoW

Actually the reason I wanted to start the thread was this: Phantasy Star Online 2 has just been announced, and after shedding a few tears for the good old days I realized I'd actually be playing a new MMO for an extended time.

WTF! Ummm Yes.. Yes please. Should I hand over all forms of ID to them, bank accounts and assets now or... ya that sounds great.
And so does FF14. I'll be getting that on PS3. Unless I get a great PC.
Are PC and PS3 servers confermed to be the same yet?

So far PSO 2 is PC only which makes me think 2 things

1. This game might be too fecking huge for consoles.
2. They're very early in development and still on the fence about porting.

I'm going to get ff14 still not sure on what but going to get it, not sure how much time I can give it considering I "main" 1 MMO at a time and PSO 2 is coming out.
