Played it Yesterday, haven't quite beat it but i'm at the last run lets say.
Overall It was quite enjoyable, It leads me to really want to give the original and the sequel a buy now. The combo weapons were fun, smashing into enemies over and over with new tricks was a riot. The enemy AI and speed is just right for this game, it doesn't over do it and there is more fear in numbers than in individuals. It captures it well.

There were some things I didn't like though. The time limit made it feel a little rushed, at times I felt like I had to wait for the guy to wave me down ( which I did) and it seemed a little too chaotic with that system.

As well, the partner AI was fine, but...in fact they had so much health and such you literally could just run back to the gas station and let them follow you, there was never ever a chance they could die even amongst that great a crowd, especially the last two survivors. I hope they develop in the final game great level design so saving people feels more like a result of your navigation and skills rather then their life bar.

I didn't like the boss fight either, it was a little too one dimensional for me. Rinse and repeat.

Overall though it has piqued my interest on this type of game for sure.

Lalalala, not reading or hearing anything. LALALALA hehe. I'm planning on playing this tonight. I downloaded both Case Zero and the Zombrex movie last night and watched the movie first. The movie was definitely a call back to the days of the B horror movie.

Got every achievement, most of them in my first playthrough. It's fun and makes me think that the actual game will be amazing and even better then the first. Just hoping it's not as easy as the first one, no mini chainsaw or unlimited orange juices plz~

Case Zero was fun, beat it and got all the achievements within a day. It was neat and fun and all that. And I plan on getting the full game of part 2 when it's released, but, I still retain the notion that I just hate how you have a huge group of zombies like that and you can just run through them most of the time like it's nothing. And if one attacks you the rest just stand around watching.

Not knocking the game, it's fun, I just really yearn for a zombie game that feels 'real' where you actually feel 'scared' to enter a mob of zombies like that because you know they'd eat you alive on the spot. That they try desperately to break down/get into wherever you're hiding and are savagely brutal and ruthless. That if you get too close to a window with bars on it etc. they'd grab your leg or arm and bite you immediately etc.

I just want a zombie outbreak game to actually 'feel' like a zombie outbreak game is all, instead of simply being a gimmick for incredulous ways to kill zombies. Oh well.

Whole heartedly agree. Not knocking Dead Rising at all, its its own game and I get where its going with it and all, but something about it made me too yearn for that real fear factor of being overwhelmed by vicious enemies.

..I just think DR isnt my kind a game, although i like it for what it is.

I actually love how non threatening individual zombies are. It sets a good mood that works for the game. Competent people can survive but don't let your guard down.
