A good friend tells me its actually one of his favorites despite how horrible it looks, he said it was quick but fun, this person hates dead aim i might add. usually the other way around..

Survivor is not bad tbh, i won't say i love it but i like it, because i like the way Capcom tried to create some new stuff tht fans might like (obvs didn't work) the First person mode is probably the best new fresh addition on a Resident evil game. i like the idea of it but the game wasn't well make... the graphic was quite bad probably becos of the console, PS1 so i won't judge on tht. but the story is too short and sometimes if u didn't play with a guide walkthrough u will be very tired just walkin around tryin to find the right way to complete this game. wot i hate the most is there is no typewriter ... tht mean u can't save ur game and when u lost or u gona go out or soemthing u have to close the game and start it all over again from the begining, i remembered my brother gave up this game becos there is not a single typewriter in the game.

i played it on my PSP so i can stand by it when i got tired and when i need to go out etc so this problem kinda solved. second thing i like about this game is the amount of weapons u can use, i was quite impressed tht capcom managed to threw tht many weapons into this small game... firstly i thought there will just be 2 handguns, a shotgun, a grenade laucher, mugmum and something else. but it turned out there are 4 handguns and each hav their positive and negative so i was quite impressed by tht.

the FPS mode shown up again in Dead aim and RE:CV minigame. firstly i like playing Dead Aim because u can save and it has many weapons u can use/ collect. i like the way tht it turns bak to thrid person when u just running or walking and turn bak to FPS when u aim ur gun, i like tht idea. Also, i like the way tht the zombies are quite difficult to defeat when playin hard and they will actually run at u at hard... which is a bit scary and hugely nervous when u running low ammo... (like me :P) however, somehow i found it easy to dodge the zombie or should i say simply walk past them than any other RE games... probably becos of the wide open area... maybe. RE:CV minigame is great in my opinion, tried to knife on FPD mode ;) u will enjoy it ;)

Survivor was a good game despite outdated graphics. It had a good story even if it wasn't canon and I liked Ark Thompson.

Survivor is canon because it was mention in resident evil 0 and some files i think

It also (re)confirms the ending in RE3 where Nikolai lives and Barry saved Jill. Being that it only came out a few months after RE3 officially, this was important at the time.

I actually thought Dead aim and Survivor were fun distractions while waiting for the next REAL Resident Evil. I rented Dead Aim and beat it that night it was VERY easy to me and survivor has some cool parts imo anyway.

Okay... RE Survivor may have had bad graphics, and bad dialogues, but it continued with the Storyline, Besides Ark destroyed a lot of B.O.W.S without remembering who he was... isnt that epic
