Maybe im misunderstanding but...they are as new as new can be, new melee attacks, VA's, etc. etc. I'm not at all saying its a lock for more, but i think now that its happened, and barring bad sales..its much more likely a circumstance then previously

Did you forget these characters cannot be used in regular mercs? It's a new mode entirely....



Barry and Rebecca aren't in Mercs, they are in Reunion.
Unless you are implying they are gonna give us 5 new mercenaries modes, yeah it's not gonna happen.

They gave us a new mode, they didn't just add the characters in.

They're not giving us new characters...just a whole new mode instead? Only a whole new mode full of new characters then.

I see what you're saying ( ie. its a whole new mode with new characters) but what makes you feel they couldn't subsequently add extra characters to the reunion mode..i might be wrong but i haven't heard of the inability to. I understand the original mercenaries is now finished in its roster, as if they could have they would have added the new ones to there, but why not just add new ones to the reunion?

I'm just saying I really don't think they will, especially after all this work and awesome stuff they've already given us.

That and there was a reason they didn't just add them to original mercs, I'm sure that same reason will factor into adding new ones to reunion.

oh don't get me wrong im happy enough they decided to do even this, its terrific and Barry and Rebbecca is solid.

I know that they couldn't release new stuff for the original...but im not sure those same parameters apply to this new mode, not that im saying one way or another, but they at least had the option in development to leave room for more going in.

Hmm...i might email capcom to see if they know in fact, maybe drop the hint that we are excited at the prospect of future mercenary stuff.

It really does seem like Capcom listened, Becky even has her "Spray you with a first aid spray" attack which many fans had mentioned should have been one of her melee's because of her initial meeting of Chris.

I still think it's such a waste though that we can't use these chars in Versus. Or that we have Rebecca and Barry but can't have Chris/Jill/Wesker with them for a true STARS Reunion. I don't care about STARS Jill personally, but it would just be nice for Chris, Jill, Barry and Rebecca (and stupid Wesker) to all be able to play together in Mercs at least.

on another note standard RE5 mercenaries has 10 characters, but mercenaries reunion only 8.....so I think something like characters/costumes pack #3 is very possible in the near future and I hope for Jill STARS or Jill RE3 outfit and CVX Wesker

I think Barry is using his special Samurai Edge you unlock in REmake.
