Hi,

I like Resident Evil 3 very much, and I'd like it to be remade with HD.
Do you think Resident Evil 3 needs to be remade in HD - Yes, or no? And why do you think that?
If yes, which camera-style does it needs, you think?
The original, used on Resident Evil 1-3, or the new (RE 4-5)?
I'd like to hear your opinions.

I'd really like a remake of RE3 and RE2 with the classic type of camera like they had in Remake. It would be so amazing.

The idea appeals to me a lot more than a reboot or RE6 with completely new characters and plot.

It doesn't need it, but I wouldn't mind it.

And why not?

Because i detest everything about the remake scene within the Resident Evil community, and i can't think of a single good thing that could come from it.

Resident Evil was a great game, the things the remake did best of all though was add to the story. What exactly are you going to add to the game now that's going to fit in nicely both with the game, and the game's ongoing storyline? Umbrella Chronicles barely scraped it, how would an entire game manage it?

In my opinion, the first game was the only one where it might've needed a graphical upgrade. Everything else in the series (within reason) is still perfectly acceptable now.

It is acceptable, yes. It is ofcourse still fun to play. Only I'd like to see improved graphics. I'm more for 3D than for 2D. But if they'd only improve the graphics, and don't add anything to the story, you even then wouldn't like a remake?

If they don't add to the story, and give us the same game but with the new engine, you're talking about a retail package completable in about four hours. No. Just no.

This is about graphics then? EUGH, said it before, the claustrophobic streets and back alleys of RC are not suited to the game's new engine, it just wouldn't work.

How can you tell?
