Start over would likely be the best option, too bad most of the editors voted stay dead.

It would be kind of sad for the unfortunate DC fan if that article held water and Capcom saw it, and decided not to continue the series because of the debate they held. Though it is likely they won't anyway, I'd hate it if they did a poll and everybody clicked "stay dead" on the options, because of something they saw on an independent blog.

*yawn* The same thing can be said for every dormant title in Capcom's library though, doesn't mean they'd never bring it back. You only need to look at some of the stuff Capcom released last year to get that.

Yeah, but Capcom kind of did it as a response to the success of the Jurassic Park films, which were successful at the box office, but they have also ceased.

I am hopeful that one day, we'll get a sequel or a remake of Dino Crisis cos how sweet would it be? But there would have to be a huge buzz for it to happen. Cannot see it.

Jurassic Park 4's been in development hell since 2001.
The most recent news that sounded even somewhat hopeful was a couple of comments by Joe Johnston on the possibility of a new trilogy.

It's always been "coming sometime in the next few years."

More specifically on-topic though: I really do wish they'd resurrect Dino Crisis as I feel it had as much if not more potential than RE.

Yeah Jurassic Park 4 is just about as bad as Ghostbusters 3 at this point, but at least even that's moving along right now.
