I'm convinced, looks legit to me, but then that's the idea of faking videos like this! Seems like a ton of effort has gone in there, and there's a lot of scenes that weren't in the first game.

While I do think that Capcom will be releasing a sequel to Dead Rising soon, I don't think this particular clip is legit. If you look at it closely, there's a scene at the beginning that looks a lot like the gas station explosion seen in Dead Rising. Also, some of the in-game zombies don't look nearly as good as they did in Dead Rising. It would make no sense to me to make a game now with worse graphics than its predecessor. In this age of gaming, graphics are very important. Not only that, but I find the whole concept lackluster and uninspiring. A casino? Really? I also don't remember seeing that many zombies in any one place in Dead Rising, so while this may change in a sequel, the zombies in this video look out of place. I strongly think that Capcom will release Dead Rising during Winter, possibly around December. That Resident Evil 5/Dead Rising one-two punch seems likely to me. What's the purpose of showing random letters and files anyway? Dead Rising was more action oriented than any Resident Evil, so why would showing all these documents make a successful trailer? It wouldn't. People didn't play Dead Rising because of its story - people played it because it offered lots of ways to kill zombies. This video doesn't show any of that. For these reasons, I think this video is a hoax.

I'm not gunna criticize till I see more of the game. I'd like for there to be photography and stuff, but I'm not sure where in development the game is so I dunno where they'll take it. Just today I was watching early trailers of RE 5 and the game itself has evolved and changed a whole lot since then. So I'll give it time and wait to see what road this goes down.
