Note, this is not the place to discuss what your favourite console is, we've all grown tired of boring stuff like that so just keep it to talk about the machine...and yes, it's unreliability can be discussed if you feel the need!

I've looked at the game that're coming out by the end of the year, and there's so many good titles yet to come! Gears Of War and Left 4 Dead are both looking incredible right now, can't wait to get my hands on them...shame i'm probably gonna wait til Christmas when i get the time off work to play through them!

Interested in the Left 4 Dead demo. While the game seems fun, I'm not certain about it yet. I'll most likely purchase the title, but a trial prior to release would be helpful.

That's great news, hadn't heard of that, thought 360 owners would be left in the cold for a while with regards to a demo. Well done to Valve though, their transition to console developer continues to gather pace!

I'm so excited for this game. The Orange Box is still probably the best value gaming package on the shelves, so i've every faith in Valve coming up trumps again with this one!

Still, would love some Counter Strike: Source on the Marketplace when you've got 5 minutes Valve!

After a release periode where not much has happened, except for GTA IV (which was not as good as I hoped IMO), we have enough to look forward to in the next months;
Gears Of War 2, Farcry 2, Call Of Duty: WAW (Probably not as good as 4: modern warfare), Dead Space, Dead Island, Alan Wake (What has happened to that game?!), Mirrors Edge and ofcourse; Resident Evil 5

I dont have a 360 but should maybe get one sometime early next year.
I would have got one this year instead but turns out the game I was most looking foward to on the system, Too Human, turned out to be a epic fail.
So I guess now im sold on all the sudden JRPG support.
And thats about it. I couldnt care for anything else. So im really still on the edge about it. I dont know.

Technical question:
How restricted is the Region Locking on a 360?
If I buy a Japanese system will I be able to play all American games like the PS3, PSP and DS do? Is it completely restricted or only on some titles?

Yeah the next few months look amazing. Dead Space, Silent Hill 5, Gears Of War 2, Left 4 Dead, Project Origin and Resident Evil 5 are my highlights at the moment.

Seriously, I wouldn't buy a X360 for that reason alone. BD flopped, IU flopped, Lost Odyssey is decent, ToV is good, TB is on PS3, FFXIII will be best on PS3, FFXIII Versus is exc. for PS3, WKS is exc. for PS3, Valkyria Chronicles is exc. for PS3 and the SMT series is likely to be exc. for PS3, though that could be a deciding factor. The only thing it honestly has is Star Ocean IV and as much as I enjoy the series, we need to see how the team rebounds after IU.

This thread was needed, kind of funny how long it took to get one. I plan to get a 360 at some point.

They're under £100 over here finally, might be time to pick one up just to get it flashed!
