Real games like Accent Core? Who even knows what Evo is here? I get the feeling no one actually plays fighting games seriously in this place really at all. I saw mention of Soul Calibur which was played competitively way back when until 3.

I'll be surprised if any one I've seen is into this stuff.

Street Fighters, FTW, is the best.

And Mortal Kombat is pretty good, same with Soul Caliber 2

Well my only next gen is the wii, and the wii is yet to have an online shooter. But I do play Brawl, Socom:Combined Assault (crap), and I like mortal kombat. Once an online shooter comes out for the wii, my collection will be complete. If there is one, its probably gonna be a James Bond game or something.

I was into the competitive scene during high school, but don't really have the time or interest at this point. I still play here and there, ususally visit CTF to do so. But even CTF isn't as lively as it used to be.

I wanted to play Soul Calibur II at EVO2K4, but didn't have the money to get out there at the time. I still can play the game at a competitive level though, you don't really loose much over the years after devoting so much time. I love PO canceling Taki, I hope SCIV follows SCII's gameplay and not SCIII (unspeakable crap.)

I also play MVC2 and CVS2. Those are pretty much my top three played games, at least competitively.

inuyasha and Hatch_basic are also familiar with the scene, but not many others here seem to be.

I love competitive games. I just dont have that many. I dont really see how three replies answers your question, either. I have alot of fun with Halo at a friends house, same with battlefeild 2. Just because it isnt new doesnt mean it isn't competitive. Any game can be competitive. I play Brawl and Mario Kart wii competitively with my friends all the time. So to answer your question, Yeah i play competitively.

I also play shooters competivly sometimes, I thought you meant just fighting games. Yea, I love Call Of Duty 4 and Halo 3. I usually play CoD4 now ever since Bungie F***ed up the maps on Halo3.

I still play RE 3 against myself in the process of attaining the perfect playthrough.
